Hotel Regina surpasses expectations
Reviewed 20 hours ago

My wife and I stayed at the Regina because we remembered the location from our last trip to Paris. As for the Regina’s location, it is right next to the Lourve and on the corner of the Tuilerie Gardens and a stones throw from Angelina’s! The street on the backside of the hotel is Rue Saint Honore and in my opinion is the best shopping street in Paris. There is every designer you can think of stretched along the street and it is an easy walk. Just be careful if your wife likes shopping: you will be there all day!

As for the hotel, my wife and I loved the hotel and the staff was off the charts. David at the concierge desk was so kind and patient and made suggestions and arrangements for everything we wanted to do. He is truly a professional and an asset to the Regina. The hotel bar has an old school a Parisian flair and bartenders are wonderful. We made it a habit to stop in for a nightly drink and we ate in the bar one late night as well. The food was fabulous. The breakfast buffet was substantial and had all the expected foods and drink.

Our room was fabulous and our view of Paris was unrivaled. We looked out on the Tuileries garden and the Eiffel Tower. We will stay at the Regina the next time we are in Paris and our stay at the Regina makes us want to return very soon!

Fantastic location and fantastic customer service

Hotel Regina is a lovely hotel in a prime location with a dedicated 24-hour concierge service. We stayed there with our children, and the staff was extraordinarily helpful in setting up guides for us, arranging drivers and transportation, and making reservations as well as with answering all the questions we had during our stay. They have a suite at the top of the hotel that accommodates 7 people and has a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower as well. What a treat! Highly recommend this hotel!

Elegant and charming hotel in a perfect location
Reviewed 5 days ago

I have found my new go-to hotel in Paris! I spent a wonderful four nights here with my young daughter last week.

The building is beautiful — classic Belle Époque elegance that manages to be both luxurious and cozy at the same time, without any pretension or ostentation.

You are right across the street from the Louvre and Jardin de Tulleries, with exceptional shops and restaurants right outside the front door. Yet inside the hotel feels quiet and intimate, not at all like you are in the middle of tourism central.

Great breakfast, wonderful staff, and an extraordinary view from our suite, all at a price which is very reasonable compared to other five star hotels in Paris.

great hotel, great location

this was the largest room i have ever stayed in in europe.directly across the street from the louvre and taller gardens. the driveway/courtyard made it so easy to catch an uber. the bar was very quaint and relaxing.

Prestige room too small. Uncomfortable.
Reviewed 1 week ago

-Prestige room has a poor layout, and is therefore too small: breakfast table will not even fit in the room.
-Bathroom: outdated with modern Ikea style cabinetry, sink, and neon lighting. Warning: the mirror is so high that a normal height woman cannot view herself in the mirror.
-Closet: impractical full size mirror mounted inside closet door, all the way to the side. Very hard to get a full size view, without having to lean against closet.
-Mini bar/ coffee station: lacking space - nothing fits.
-Never replenished: bathroom toiletries and supplies, breakfast menu, coffee cups, drinking glasses. All items constantly missing...
-Windows hardware needs to be fixed: almost impossible to open and close, without breaking your wrist.
-Phone system is not labeled properly: when calling concierge, room service answers, and so on...
-WIFI: expect to constantly have to login again, and again...
-Elevator: modern, not in sync with lobby style
-Hallways leading to room feel like a wind tunnel and are outdated.
-Warning: beautiful dining room is NOT used as breakfast room. Instead, breakfast is served in a plain room in the back of the hotel.
-Hotel terrace: tiny, surrounded by 4 walls. Uninteresting.
-Hotel entry door is on the side, via a revolving door. Luggage will not fit through that door, and there is no one outside to take care of the luggage.
-Room was not ready by check-in time
-Avoid room on first floor. The higher floor, the better. The closer to the hotel entrance, the better the view (on Rivoli side).

Beautiful lobby, restaurant, and bar.
