Nice location and good service

The hotel is located near the Luxembourg gardens and very close to Port Royale metro strop. The rooms are typical Parisian hotel size (small), but not tiny. The room was clean and contemporary. The front desk is very helpful and the breakfast is very good (extra charge).

Typical local Parisian hotel

What it sets out to do, it does very well.

The hotel is located in a modest neighbourhood a few steps away from Port-Royal RER line, which goes directly to and from Charles De Gaulle airport, Gare du Nord (for the Eurostar trains) and other landmarks, so it is super-convenient.

It's a bit of a walk to the nearest Metro station (as opposed to RER), but no harm in that - there are lots of small shops, restaurants and bars nearby. None of them super-fashionable, but aiming for the local trade, so offering good value and good quality.

The hotel has six floors, going up to roof level in Paris - try to get a room on one of the higher floors, as the noise from the street is much less.

The reception is manned 24/7, and they do ask guests to leave the old-fashioned keys at reception every time you walk out the door - even for a couple of minutes to buy something at the local shops.

There is reasonable-speed WiFi throughout the hotel, included in he price of a room. A small lift will carry guests to the top floors (as well as the lower ones).

The breakfast is worth the EU10 fee. with fresh brioche; croissants, coffee, juice and scope to cook eggs with ham, cheese, fruit and yoghurts and so on.

The room was small, but comfortable with a decent shower and a small flat-screen TV.

It was a comfortable temperature, clean and all that was needed for a short stay in Paris.

All Good!

Best Part of My Trip to Paris

I wouldn't want to stay at any other hotel in Paris! The location of this hotel is unbeatable, as it is situated on the RER B line which runs directly to and from the Charles de Gaulle airport. With access to the RER B line, you can quickly and easily access the best destinations in Paris, while the hotel itself if situated in a quiet and charming part of town. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and a complimentary breakfast is provided. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - I was always greeted with a smile, and my room was kept clean. The WiFi is fast, and each room is provided with a TV. Overall, I couldn't have asked for better accommodation during my trip to Paris. Highly recommend!

Simple, clean and light

A small, clean, quiet and cozy hotel with a perfect location: just a couple of minutes walk from Port Royal and 5 minutes from Jardin de Luxembourg. And a couple of minutes from Académie de la bière. My room was light, clean and looked newly refurbished. The bed was firm and very pleasant, so where the pillows. There was no air conditioning, but that was not necessary during my stay in April. Free and secure wi-fi of reasonable speed. The hall outside my room was a bit dark and gloomy. The breakfast is extremely simple, with a very limited choice, but both the baguette and the croissant were delicious, and the coffee was strong and tasty. The staff was friendly and efficient. Recommended!

Peaceful and Pleasant

Located in quite residential area with shops and the metro very close. My room was small compared to American standards but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size and also very clean. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
