Hotel Pas De Calais
What We Love
- Culture and charm at a stylish hotel in the heart of Paris' Saint Germain neighbourhood Waking up to breakfast at the hotel, with fresh pastries from a nearby baker
- Exploring Paris’ artistic Left Bank and Saint Germain's art galleries and grand cafes
- Opting for a Junior suite and enjoying lovely views from your balcony
What To Know
- Well-located within walking distance of the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, and the Notre Dame; if you're looking to go any further, you can catch the Metro just a block away
- From the outside the hotel is quite unassuming, but once inside, it's all atmosphere (see: the living wall in the lobby)
- Free WiFi connection can be iffy
Paris’ Left Bank has long been a favourite of artists and writers. Follow the likes of Picasso and Matisse to La Rive Gauche, and you’ll find modern day Saint Germain des Prés is still home to grand cafes and art galleries that you’ll want to find time for. Perfectly situated for a true Parisian experience, Hôtel Pas de Calais sits just over a kilometre from the Louvre Museum, Musée d’Orsay and Notre Dame Cathedral.
In keeping with its stylish surroundings, the hotel favours a chic and contemporary design. Thanks to a recent renovation, guestrooms have been given the individual treatment, with unique features, colour schemes, artwork and furnishings featured in each. A daily breakfast focused on the freshest ingredients the hotel can source also sets you up for the day, with pastries from a nearby baker, freshly pressed juice and seasonal fruits.
How to Get There
Excellent location!! Walking distance to many restaurants in st germain. The rooms arent too small like in other hotels. Incredibly friendly staff and manager. Had an great stay and would recommend this hotel.
Our 13-night stay exceeded our expectations. Our room was well appointed and maintained, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. We are seniors and walkers, and found the location ideal. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to this glorious city. Thanks for a fabulous stay!
Loved our stay at PasDeCalais!! The room is very tastefully decorated and is planned very nicely. They do run small but so do all rooms in Paris, especially in old buildings! Fabulous location, cam walk to most places, lots of high end boutiques and little restaurants around. The Ralph Lauren cafe is around the corner, looked really nice but we didn't end up going there.
The elevator is really tiny, just enough for 2 people so they help you with your bags when you check in.
The staff is very very nice! Without exception!
The breakfast is very basic but nice, u get a juice, some cheese, couple of pastries and coffee/tea. Next time I would skip the breakfast and eat at one of the cafes or bakeries outside!
Stayed at this lovely hotel for several nights. Room was smallish but good size by European standards. Clean and well kept. Large bathroom Great sitting areas throughout the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you stay on the side of the hotel without a lift, ask staff to help with baggage as it's difficult to carry a heavy case up the winding staircase. The hotel is in a great neighborhood. May shops and restaurants withing walking distance. Less than 10 minute walk to the Seine. Metro stop is about 5 minutes away.
Loved this hotel - great location - very friendly staff - very quiet!!! Had a great stay here - highly recommend this hotel!!! Very clean and happy to accommodate our needs!!! Staying here was a pleasure!!!
