Decent hotel in the heart of Paris

Nice clean boutique hotel; worth three stars. It is an easy fifteen minute walk from Champs de Elysees. Breakfast was good but the hotel felt quite cramped in general. Would still recommend it for value and proximity.

Unprofessional, disappointing

Upon checking in, we found our room to be clean; however, the air conditioning was not working (it was my 2 year old and myself in August!). When I spoke with reception, they were aware of the issue and assured me that it would be fixed. The following day, it was still not working. They responded that they were aware of the issue and that it has not been working for anyone on my floor, but made no attempt to compensate or mediate the issue. Later that day and the remainder of our stay, the air conditioning was still not working, I asked for a new room. They said the hotel was full. They offered to compensate charges for breakfast on our last morning, but still billed me for the breakfast on the final bill along with additional taxes when I went to check out. I followed up with the hotel, but never received any response.

Small but clean

I stayed 6 nights in Paris and found this hotel in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. It has an upper west side NYC feel and is a local neighborhood. Few tourists, cute restaurants, quiet, quaint and easy access to the metro.

As most hotels in Paris, it was very small. The rooms, the lobby, the elevator, etc. The pictures make it look a lot bigger, but it is pretty tight. It is very clean and the staff is very kind. They helped out with any questions we had regarding places to go and restaurants to try.

It is directly next door to a laundromat as well, incase you are there for a bit longer and need to do a laundry. It is also nearby many wonderful restaurants, one I would recommend is called L'escient, which is right around the corner. It has 3 major subway lines nearby, within a 5-8 minute walk. There is also a great salad/juice bar about 6 minutes away called Jour Ternes, incase you are looking for healthier options like I was.

The only real negative we had was that the AC was broken (dead of summer) on the entire 3rd floor where our room was located. Unfortunately, it was not fixed until our 4th/6th night. We specifically chose this hotel because of the location and the room AC. The manager was nice and offered us a comped breakfast to try to make up for it. She also offered to have our room switched, but as you can imagine having been there already for 3-4 days, it would have been more annoying to pack up and then un pack yet again.

4 stars are too much

The location is very good, very close to the main sights

The rooms are tiny and not clean. The first room smelled like cigarettes. We complained about it and It was changed to another one. The windows and doors in the second room were opened, so we didn't smell something bad. After a long walk we came back to the hotel at midnight and felt horrible smell of mold... We slept with open windows, but the smell was really bad. In the morning we've found the mold behind a chair in the corner. The shower is only for people with clothes size XS and smaller. We didn't take breakfast, because for 15€ p.p. you can eat much more in a boulangerie next door. The breakfast room is very close to the entrance, so you would eat almost at the reception.

Nice and quite

The hotel is quite nice. Note the best but it’s ok. Great room with AC. Nice bathroom. Everything you need is here. The food was great. Some persons here don’t speak English at all, but it was ok. If you look for a place quite, not so expensive but want quality, this may be your choice!
