How to Get There
We stayed in the largest room (62) for four nights and found it comfortable for 2. It has a large bed and not-quite-as-small-bathroom as some Paris hotels. There's a mini fridge, where we could keep a couple of small perishables bought at markets. The main attraction of this room is the view right above the Pantheon, and you can also see Sacre Coeur. All good there.
We only had two small but annoying issues. First, before you arrive, they send you a survey to take. Some of the info gathered could be mutually beneficial, like your anticipated arrival time. However, they also ask for birthdate and give no reason for why they request that. This request is clearly not in compliance with the EU's GDPR (privacy law). I did not complete that field, but when I checked in, I had to go through the form again--and I explained I wasn't providing that info. They may be collecting it when they review your passport, but even then, they should be deleting that information as soon as your payment clears and you check out.
The other issue was lighting. I'm all for energy-efficient lighting, but that also means it's important to place lighting where it is needed. There was a large, metal ceiling-hung fixture over the TV--exactly where you do not need or want it. Furthermore, when unpacking a suitcase on the floor in that area (the best spot to do so), it was really easy to hit your head on the metal fixture. There were two mirrors in the bedroom but no lighting anywhere nearby. Even the lighting above the mirrors in the bathroom was inadequate for makeup or plucking brows. I had to take a compact over to the window to do basic prep before heading out to work.
I'd still recommend this hotel, but it would be easy for them to adjust their lighting and get a perfect review.
The location can't be beat. We love the restaurants just behind the hotel and then there's rue Mouffetard just a few minutes way. Head a few minutes in the other direction and you're at the Jardin du Luxembourg. The room is beautifully decorated, well maintained and clean. As you might expect, the room is not large, but it's comfortable. Les Dame du Pantheon should be at the top of you list when choosing a hotel in Paris.
I went to this hotel last minute after booking through an app. I was worried. My goodness the location was simply perfect. 5 mins from transport. 1 min from an amazing Paris sight to see. Lovely restaurants and cafe in the area. Just very accessable in every way.
Rooms were compact (this is Paris) but sumptuous.
Staff were very Friendly and helpful.
Very quiet and tranquil. No athmosphre per se in hotel but it's small so small hotels in general don't have guests congregation. Interesting and cool art on walls, stunning central staircase.
We stayed at Hotel les Dames du Pantheon for 3 nights in June. The hotel itself is conveniently located and very quiet -- overall a very nice hotel. However, the lighting on the floor on which we stayed was incredibly dark, hence the 4 stars. We had the family room which was basically adjoining rooms. The lights above the bed in our room were blinding against the purple walI if you looked directly at the bed. However, they did not provide much light to the room itself. The lighting in our children's room was nearly non existent -- black globes with a small strip of clear to allow light out. During the day, the rooms were much brighter and very welcoming due to the large windows and natural light (especially in our children's corner room with windows on 2 of the 4 walls). In reading other reviews, it appears that there may be other rooms in the hotel that are decorated in brighter colors and are therefore not as dark at night. If you like a well lit room, my recommendation would be to ask for a room decorated in lighter colors so that you do not end up in what we called our rooms -- Dracula's brothel. The bathrooms were a breath of fresh air and were bright and white with a black tiled shower. The rooms themselves were very clean and quiet. I would try staying here again on a return trip IF we were guaranteed some of the brighter rooms that we have seen in other reviews.
we spend 4 nights here on a recent trip to Paris for the french open & loved it. great location 50m from the Pantheon. the rooms was small but we expected that so were not disappointed as it was well decorated & very comfortable with a view from the bed straight onto the Pantheon.
we had breakfast in the dinning room on the first day but thereafter we had breakfast in Bed. food was very good & service fast & efficient with a smile. we would definitely return.
