Just what we needed

Hotel Le Six was exactly what we needed in a Paris hotel. A comfortable room in a good location, helpful staff and a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to Paris and would highly recommend it to others.

Fresh boutique hotel, perfect located
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

First time in Paris and what a pleasant stay. The hotel is perfect located for first time visitors in Paris. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and attractions.
The Hotel is on Rue Stanislas a small, quiet and secure street just beside the lovely church Église Notre-Dame des Champs. Very friendly staff with focus on making your stay as pleasant as possible. We booked a Superior Double Room which was placed facing the courtyard of the hotel. This was perfect and very calm. Spaceous room with modern furnitures and comfortable beds.
When your feet are hurtig from walking all day long the Metro station Notre-Dame des Champs is located just 100m from the hotel.

Excellent Base Camp for Couples Exploring Paris

If you are a couple visting Paris, this is definitely a place to consider booking. Boutique 4 star hotel that will offer a good night's sleep and a nutrious breakfast before you put on our Vibram sole shoes to rack up another 10 km until lunch. Helpful staff that provides useful information.

Hotel: Great location on a quiet street with several Metro stops literally just around the corner. Easy access via Metro and busses to all sights and to main train stations like Gare de Lyon or Gare de l'Est. Bakeries, restaurants and mini-marts within walking distance. The Louvre and Notre Dame are a nice 30 min walk away.

Rooms: Reasonably priced and reasonably sized by Paris standards. Our Superior Room had the right size for three nights. Clean, quiet and good mattresses. Bonus points for UK and US power outlets above the desk. We missed a coat rack and a second chair, everything else was fine. If you plan to work hard during your stay, you might find the desk a bit small. The hotel is located in an old building, so if you're handicapped this might not be the perfect choice for you.

Service: Attentive, helpful and friendly. All staff members we encountered spoke English well but were patient enough to endure my highschool French. Some are more familiar with the vicinity than others, but all tried to come up with answers to our questions.

Breakfast buffet: Nice selection that offered enough variety for us on three mornings. High quality products such as yogurt from Normandy, fresh fruits and jambon cru. Also cereals, eggs plus bacon and - of course - croissants. Freshly made pancakes and waffles were kept at room temperature; I prefer them a tad warmer. The hotel's website offered a discount and with 15 €/person you cannot go wrong.

best bed

One of the most amazing hotels I have stayed at. All the staff go out of their way to be helpful, courteous and always with a smile. The beds were so comfortable that I had a 9 hour sleep for the first time in months!! Rooms are spotless, showers modern. Try the bistrot right in front.

An Excellent Hotel
Reviewed 1 month ago

It was our fifth time at le Six. As before it stands head and shoulders above all the other Paaris hotels we have been to in 49 years of travelling - and we go to Paris a lot. The only detail I might criticize this time was that we experienced check-in and check-out as rather perfunctory whereas in former times we had received a warm welcome and a nice good-bye. Apart from this minor point everything was excellent: the superior room of generous proportions, particularly appreciated in Paris. "Intelligent" features such as tiny guarding rails on top of bedside tables so nothing falls off, and easily manageable lighting throughout the room. Nice bright bathroom (natural light!) and a separate walk-in shower, good-size dividing cupboard between beds and room door. Good overall sound insulation. One or two special wishes were promptly catered for. Reliable, friendly chambermaid. Breakfast room with enough space - not a corner behind reception. Good choice of food on offer. Courteous and efficient breakfast staff. And, as always, ideal location: two métro lines that will whisk you practically anywhere in a very short time. Good restaurants close by. Who could ask for more?
