How to Get There
We stayed at this hotel - modern looking from the outside as well as the inside - within 10 minutes walking distance from the Gare Montparnasse where we arrived directly from Angers with the TGV in about 1h30. The check was quickly and efficiently done and with a smile. Because it was too early we put our luggage in a safe room, tagged and we did get a small receipt for it.
Coming back around 6pm, after visiting the Panthéon, Sainte Chapelle and the Library Ste Genéviève, we settled in our room. Very spacious, modern design, with shower and toilet - all very well placed and nicely decorated.
The we set out for a dinner and came back to the hotel to enjoy two glasses of champagne, which were part of our package. The bar women was very friendly and hospitable. The night, on very good bedding, was spent in a rooom, without any noise from the outside.
The breakfast, at 19 euros per person, was bountiful and plenty for us to continue our way to Orly Sud for our trip. Overall a very pleasant experience at this convenient located hotel.
My husband and I did not spend much time in the hotel, staff were very friendly, the room clean and tidy. A nice area with lots of bars and restaurants and close to a metro station. There was lots to see in this area of Paris, but to get to the main sights it was about a 20 minute journey on the metro.
I left my charger in the hotel and at first I called the reception and I talked to a lady who was frankly not very polite and she told me to send an email so I did that . But they took days to answer the email and all they said is that i must have forgot it somewhere else but I am 100 percent sure I didn't !
And my room was not great considering the price i had to pay !!
The hotel is well equiped and well situated between Metro stations Gaité and Edgar Quinet. Lafayette and Cinema's are around the corner, Restaurants and shopping close by. Great staff! Highly recommendable.
Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend this weekend as we were visiting Paris for my birthday. We had a lovely stay and really didn’t spend much time in the hotel other than to sleep which was good really as the hotel isn’t as nice as the photos appear online.
The hotel was clean and the reception staff were lovely however I would not consider the rooms to be 4 star. We stayed in room 303 and there were scratches on the sink, dents in the sink, the paint work looked rather worn and extractor fan did not work. There just wasn’t that attention to detail seen as it was a 4 star hotel.
The hotel should definitely consider reducing their prices as outside the hotel it smells of egg very badly and this leads throughout the hotel up to your room. It’s not the hotels fault I know as I’m assuming it is from the drains outside and although the hotel do their best to mask the smell with infusers etc it does not take away that odour that lingers.
I probably would not stay here again when visiting Paris because of the smell and also the lack of attention to detail. For a 4 star hotel I would expect the rooms to be better.
