How to Get There
What a perfect and unique hotel in such a great and convenient location. Great staff and such a lovely place to stay... Highly recommend this place whether your stay is business or pleasure. I have been here twice now and wouldn't stay anywhere else now.
Very charming hotel in a quiet area about 20 minute walk from the Champs Elysee. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in checking us in when we arrived late in the night and in guiding us with things to see and do in the area. There are 2 bus stops close to the hotel, one that takes you to Champs Elysees and another that goes to the Opera House. Since we went in December, Paris was quite cold and we walked a couple of times but ended up taking the bus on the really cold days. The Metro is also close by but we did not really use it much. In better weather, I think it should be a lovely walk to the main attractions. The room was clean and breakfast was pretty decent. There is a cozy room to hangout with books to read. Also, there is a very nice Italian restaurant right across the street and a few other restaurants a couple of blocks away.
We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back.
Stayed here with my daughter. Hotel is quirky and I wanted to like it. Good location, short walk from metro and arc. But the service warrants a lower rating. My son was planning on coming in for one night and had a separate room booked through a travel agent. He had flight issues, so I asked if his room could be cancelled.. The women at the front desk said that since the reservation was made through a travel agency, we would have to work through them. We called the travel agency and were told that since there had been flight issues, they did not think it would be a problem, but they would have to check with the hotel. The travel agency called back and said they spoke with the hotel (and gave me the name of the same woman at the front desk I had spoken with initially) and that the hotel would not allow for a cancellation - we would have to pay for his room. It was after the time for cancellation, so I don't object to the hotel denying a cancellation, even for flight issues. But why didn't they tell me that when I asked in person - I wasted an hour of my time and made two international calls that could have been avoided. The young woman who worked at the breakfast buffet was also lacking in friendliness and effectively hurls items onto the buffet.
Delightful little Hotel, in a very quiet neighbourhood. Amazing staff, so friendly, nice clean room, excellent breakfast. Not too far from the Metro,, and a VERY good selection of Restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend this Hotel, I certainly hope to return
It was amazing! Paris is one of the most beautiful Citys in the World.Specially began our lovely trip to Paris when we checked in the Hotel. Hotel Gaston is placed central but quite by the traffic sounds. The Staff were always very friendly and made a great job. Our Room had a spectacular Design and the whole building was stocked a modern/cool arts. From the hotel, we could take the Metro or Bus to come very easy to the hotspots of Paris. Therefore we were able to enjoy our vacation in every part. Thank you very much, Hotel Gaston Staff!
