How to Get There
Very good and clean hotel but a bit out of the centre so be prpeared to use the metro. Compact but clean room. Breakfast was Ok but limited choice- not value for money.....eat at one of the local boulangers instead
There is not refrigerator , and the room is very small, which is different with the picture in the website.
I have bought a new shaver because my old shaver was out of battery. I put it in the desk after I used it. But when I came back my room, the top of shaver was lost.
The hotel didn't give me reasonable explanation till now.
My daugther (13) and I had a loverly time at 9Hotel Montparnasse and in Paris. It's a good location. Montparnasse is a nice area. We also visited the Montparnasse tower in the evening. A nice experience to see the lights of the Eiffeltower. Our room looks good and we slept wel. There was a full breakfast. When we visit Paris again, we'll surely come back.
I stay at the hotel 2 or 3 time a months and I am never disappointed. Clean room, great shower, friendly staff and a pleasent location to eat or drink in the evening. L'Envie, a good place to eat just just around the corner from the hotel.
As advertised online, I thought the hotel would have a nice bathroom, the only reason we chose this hotel as the others were all pretty similar. However, we arrived to a standard shower made of glass in the same room as the bed, so you could see whoever was showering very clearly. This was a definite inconvenience for a trip with my mother. I did like, however, being able to open the window and see the street below. Additionally, the pernety metro is a short walk away so that was extremely helpful for getting around Paris.
