Great boutique hotel

Clean rooms, good location, friendly staff (all).
I had a great stay with my family. It was a convenient and comfortable stay for visiting Paris. Direct train RER A from hotel to Disneyland, 5 to 10 minutes walk to arc de triomphe station.

Ok stay!

I had come here to visit my partner, and it was around the Paris fashion week time; so understanding the price was high due to the demands of the hotel.

The location of this hotel is so amazing! 5 minutes walk to arc de triomphe and very close to the metro! Lots of restaurants / cafes around to get what you need, when you need it

The room itself was nice, albeit small ; but you’d expect that in Paris. It felt modern, with very basic amenities provided. Comfortable bed, big bathroom. My favourite part of the room would have been the big window with the Juliette balcony! How very Parisian :)

Overall i would say that this hotel’s strength lies in the location and just that.

Good boutique hotel, with great location and service

Once again, Trip Advisor´s Certificate of Excellence showed its value: the stay at this boutique hotel was very enjoyable. The outstanding location of the hotel, the nice and quiet neighborhood and the welcoming staff, make sure I liked every minute of my stay in this business trip. It is close to major attractions, to the Metro system and to scores of good restaurants and boulangeries. On top of all that goes the most important thing: the staff was very attentive and helpful, really focused on making more enjoyable your visit to Paris and to the hotel.

Everything you need in a boutique hotel

I booked 4 nights in a kind of a last minute option. After completing my booking I've seen some reviews saying that some rooms were "dated" especially bathrooms, so I was a little worried.
But I've been upgraded and got a superior room, without me asking, thank you for that! My room (301) had a definitely remodeled bathroom, very spacious, with all new fixtures, a bright wight bathtub. Taking a bath after strolling out on winter days was very pampering.
The room itself was also spacious and had a nice street view. The walk-in closet was very comfortable to use.
The wi-fi was very fast and worked steadily and having lots of USB charging ports in several points was very convenient.
Overall, the room was very satisfying, I just don't know if it were the case of the classic room without the upgrade for superior, which I suppose was possible because of the slow season.
The reception area is definitely could use an "update".
They do some renovating works going on in some rooms I guess, but causing some noise. The works are done during the day hours, so for those who are going out after breakfast, it shouldn't be a problem. As I was not feeling well and stayed in the room longer, the noise did bother me a bit, but the remodeling works are a good thing for future customers.

The breakfast was generally good, I just wish that there were some vegetables or small salad like I used to have in other hotels. But all the products of a choice were replenished and available until the ending hour, which is not obvious in small hotels.

The last but definitely not the least point to mention - what really made my stay enjoyable was the great staff working in the hotel!

Both gentlemen serving breakfast were very nice and attentive. The cleaning lady that made my room every day was also nice, greeted me every morning asking how I slept and felt, and did her job well.
The reception staff deserves special recognition, they are all very dedicated, professional and kind. Cristine welcomed me on my arrival, made sure I got a good room, gave me some recommendations, even I wasn't asking as I know Paris well. I did go on my last evening to a nice neighborhood restaurant ("La Maison" on La Place Saint-Ferdinand) recommended by Cristine and enjoyed it.
Finally, Marie-Laure - I do not have enough words to describe how wonderful she is. I've had an unfortunate unpleasant experience on the second day of my visit, as being accidentally close to the manifestation, inhaled the tear gas spread in the area and had a horrible allergic reaction which got worse the next morning. Marie-Laure expressed concern and understanding, was very attentive and kind (so was the younger gentleman serving breakfast which I've come late to, he even apologized for that happened to me in Paris).
Marie-Laure also expressed genuine interest in my plans and we had an interesting cultural conversation.
I wish to thank especially Marie-Laure, Cristine and the young man from the breakfast service, and all the members of the Hotel Duret staff. I love Paris and it never fails me
