There are also three Metro stations within a 10-minute walk of the hotel, so exploring everything else the city has to offer couldn’t be easier.
How to Get There
Very small room. And it is prohibited to have any meals in room. Only water
Some unexpected additional fees were applied when we take out. Unpleasant thing.
In general, it is good place for weekend in Paris.
I hate to give away my latest best kept secret, but feel I must share my near perfect experience at this charming Boutique Hotel in Paris' 17th arrondissement.
I was travelling alone, while visiting my daughter in Paris. I stayed with these charming people for 11 nights, and certainly got a very good picture of how things were run. The staff, first of all, was superb. Monsieur and Madame Rey, lovely proprietors, have chosen their "family" carefully, and a feeling of harmony and true customer care prevails.
Benjamin, Gaelle, Frederika, Flavio, Ouiza and Judith work what seems to be around the clock to take care of their customers, always with time to stop and chat or to answer questions.
Yes, the rooms are quite small, as is everything in Paris.(You should be outside in Paris anyway!) They are also beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. There is no closet, per se, in the room I was in, but a bar to hang your clothes on. It took me a little while to get used to that, as I had more clothes to hang for a longer stay. I was in Room 41 (and loved it), and on my last night, had the good fortune to stay in room 46, which is a lovely suite, with small sitting room, quite a bit more space, and a full sized closet.
Breakfast is fresh and basic, and you have your choice each day as to whether to eat at the hotel or venture out. Absolutely no pressure.
The hotel is located in a safe, lively, yet quiet neighborhood, full of markets and cafes, close to absolutely everything.
Will I return? As soon as I possibly can.
The room and building was beautiful. The breakfast was slightly disappointing but the rest made up for that. The hotel is situated on a cute street just down from the market street. The train was less than 5 min walk and we used google maps to get everywhere and it told us what trains to get. We travelled everywhere on the train it cost around €1.50 for as many connecting trains as long as you dont leave the station. It was great to get to all the tourist points
Lovely hotel and lovely rooms in a great location, yet found staff very rude apart from the night time receptionist who was great! If you have an early flight you can’t check in until 2pm there is no such thing as “early check in”!!
The area was very charming and only 400 m from the metro. The room (classic parisette) was small but sufficient enough. Also very modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent! We can definitely recommend this hotell!
