How to Get There
I stayed there for work and specifically booked a non-smoking room. I got to my room and there was an obvious cigarette stench. I immediately called to complain and asked for a different room. Was told the hotel was sold out and that someone would be sent to my room to address the smell. A maintenance person came with a machine that did very little to help (but a lot of noise). After 10 minute running this machine, they came to collect it. When I called back the reception I was told a manager would get back to me and the person who picked up the phone said "yeah, it's really sh--tty today because we're sold out". No manager called me back, and I was told I would get another room the next night. Sure enough the hotel was again sold out, I did not get another room, and the call back from the manager never came on the second night either.
Besides that, the hotel location is not good (you are at least a 10 minute walk from the nearest subway), and the rooms are small and could use an update.
We paid 800 euro for their cheapest room. Concierge didn’t even offer to carry baggage to the room, we had to ask/demand it.
Feel like a gin and tonic? 18 euros for Bombay.
This hotel is a joke. Don’t bother.
I loved the location , as I prefer to be away from touristy things and live like a local when I go there ... I like the shops , restaurants and transit all nearby ..
But ... this hotel has a long way to go . The mini bar was empty and blowing warm air , so it could not be used as a fridge ..when we asked for a fridge they said we could put our items in their fridge at reception ( not safe but an offer ) she. We asked to put something in the fridge their reply was a simple .. no..
There was only one electrical plug across the room and no clock ... so was necessary to plug in phone across the room for alarm etc but since no clock I had to get up throughout the night , walk across the room and look at the time , this ended up being a bonus as I did not receive my 6 am wake up call 😡
There was only a couple irons in the whole hotel and I had to call 4 times to get it & when it arrived it was old and probably broken with. Horrible burnt ironing board ..
there were no hooks in the room any where .. so towels I guess are supposed to go on the floor ?
There were two hangers in the closet with robes ( nice touch ) but those were the only two hangers so in order to hang my ironed clothes I had to put the robes on the floor too as there were no hooks ...
the windows did not open , there was no ice machine ( plan b keeping food chilled )
I speak French fluently and found it extremely difficult to get service here ..
I found out later that my colleague had bed bug bites from another room so I guess I needed up being the lucky one ...
Nice hotel near the city centre in Paris, With a Metro station and Railway station near by . You can also Eiffel tower from its side . Breakfast is not ok for Indian travelers, but can be done. Stayed for 3 nights in hotel and found it ok. Rooms are good with nice Bathrooms and toiletries.
OK hotel if you have business in the Montparnassse area, quite close to the station. The rooms are of a good size and comfortable enough but are not recently renovated. The lobby staff were helpful and nice.
