How to Get There
We arrived in Paris early morning and were able to check our bags with their friendly hotel staff and hit the streets. Check in and out went fine and the rooms were comfortable. We only stayed 1 night then departed to Bordeaux to board our river cruise. We ended up staying in Paris 3 nights after we returned from our cruise at another hotel. Wished we had re booked at Hotel Concorde Montparnasse.
This is the third hotel I’ve stayed in during business trips to Paris and my favourite so far. Firstly it’s in a great location in Monteparnase, situated between 2 metro stations and a 45 minute walk from both the Eiffel Tower and The Louvre, which is fine for my legs. Secondly the hotel has all the standard amenities you’d expect from a business hotel, including a fitness suite and most importantly a bar. Reception were very friendly and were great at fixing a slight issue I had with my booking. The rooms themselves were fine, I saw reviews on Trip Advisor about the showers but had no complaints myself. The rooms showed some wear and tear as evidence on the plug sockets and light fittings which a simple refresh would remediate. Breakfast offered a wide selection, both hot and cold, I regularly had cheese, I had a hot breakfast the first morning but 4 full English breakfast isn’t going to help neither my heart or waistline. For me, Hotel Concorde was a great hotel which should the occasion arise I will change to stay here again.
If your answer is Yes, indeed than this place can be a good choice. You pay the price of it obviously. This is the main advantage of the hotel as the rooms are out of style, and although breakfast is various, it’s not tasty at all.
