A classic cream-colored corner building with mansard roof and wrought iron Juliet balconies, this 40-room boutique sleep is postcard-perfect Paris. Rooms are decorated in soothing tones of beige, silver and gray, although some feature decadent pops of royal purple and sunshine-yellow. Adding to the welcoming vibe are bouquets of fresh flowers in every corner, along with free perks like home-made snacks at afternoon tea. The tree-lined streets outside are perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle, which the hotel can provide.
In the Area
Start by exploring one of the world’s most famous avenues, the Champs Elysées, which starts just a stroll away, being sure to admire the stately Arc de Triomphe. Shop the swank-tastic rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, where many of the world’s top luxury brands have their flagships. Don’t miss cult concept store Colette where you can browse everything from avant-garde fashion to cult coffee table tomes. Finally, catch a show at the legendary Lido, which has been putting on risqué cabaret shows since 1946.
How to Get There
Upon arrival, we were raciallu targetted and made to feel like criminals for a PRE-PAYED room. They demanded to see the credit card used as required by french law(that is ok) bit when i did not have it on me they refused to check me in. Its ok, gibe me my money back and i will check in elsewhere - they dont want to. The room was of poor plumbing - we slept in a filthy bayhroom with a sink that had sewer smell. Like reallly?! No plumber valled out on a 4star hotel, yhe receptionist is the plumber. Bring down our luggage please....not done as they have noone to do it. Toilet upon check in was dirty and used. This was a €260 euro service for 2 night?!?! Pathetic. Take your cash elsewhere.
Staff were excellent but the website does not reflect hotel. Rooms are very small and hotel quite pokey.
Website makes it look much bigger and more grand. Actually very small and strange reception. But must say staff great
Really good custormer service, staff super hepful and friendly. The hotel is small and the rooms are small too, but very clean, spotless.
Breakfast is simple, but good quality. There is a espresso machine in the reception that you can get espressos the whole day for free and in the afternoon they serve macaroons! Always a plus!
Overall it was a great experience.
The hotel staff is super helpful. Mr. Theofile, the person at the reception desk, treated me and my granddaghter as royalty. We needed help with an European charger and he found a special charger and lended it to us. He also helped us with the television set and with detailed directions to the Metro. He booked for us tickets for the Lido Show and provided accurate instructions as to how to get there.
We travel alot and this is one of the best hotels we stayed in. Its quiet and centrally located. The breakfast buffet is rich, the rooms are clean and everyone is polite and helpful. This is an excellent and reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Paris. Strongly recommended!!!
