Very disappointing stay in what was defined as a 4 star hotel. Location was very good and it was clean. We stayed 3 nights and the room was cleaned once. You have to ask, which was our first mistake. And if you like wash clothes, this is not your hotel. We were told they don't have them. Also, my pillow blew a hole and in the morning I thought at first it had eithered snowed or it was styrofoam. Filling was all over the floor. I could go on, but you might be better served at another hotel.

Fabulous location and staff

We had an excellent stay here. Found the staff uniformly friendly and helpful, and fluent in English. The location can't be beat, so many things to see and do nearby. We walked to museums, restaurants, shops, and more. Room was small but comfortable, on an inside light shaft so nice and quiet. The "happy time" was relaxed and nice. Breakfast was okay. Downsides: there was construction going on and workers using the single very small elevator. And, yes, it's kind of expensive.

Disappointing 4-Night Stay

My husband and I made a last minute booking and decided to stay at this hotel for 4 nights. The room that we were originally given had a broken sliding door to the bathroom and the bath did not drain properly. We noticed this within the first 30 minutes and I will say that the hotel handled our concerns well and provided us with an alternative room (which was actually much bigger, which we appreciated).

With that being said, even the upgraded room did not really compensate for what this hotel was lacking. Our bathroom in the new room had a broken tile. Further, the rooms have zero noise cancellation, so you can hear every door shut or open, every voice, etc. especially at night. By far the biggest complaint of mine is the service. This is a 4-star hotel in Paris. Guests are paying a considerable amount and are expecting 4-star service. This hotel did not provide that. With the exception of Yoni, who was very kind, everyone else we spoke with throughout our stay seemed unhappy and irritated. We even caught one of the receptionists roll her eyes at guests who came and asked for something. When you walk into your hotel lobby, you expect at least a smile. The majority of the people who work at this hotel do not seem to want to be there and it shows. We felt extremely cheated, considering this was a pricier option for us and we booked it expecting an exceptional experience.

All in all, I would not recommend. I think that you can spend much less and get better service and better quality rooms (without as many defects). I am hoping that my experience is a one-off...
