Good Hotel. GREAT Concierges
Mark C

The hotel is very well run in every respect. Comfortable (although small) rooms, very good breakfast arrangement and a very pleasant atmosphere. But, and it is a big BUT, their concierges are spectacularly good and outstandingly professional. We had two proofs. First, I damaged my glasses on a Sunday, our last day before leaving Paris the first time. The concierge (a young woman) identified the nearest optometrist that would be operating, not extremely close (not many were open) but not too far on the Metro. My glasses were promptly repaired. Problem solved. Then, on the following weekend, our bus travelling back to Paris after our canal barge trip was extremely late getting back to Paris. We had left some luggage at the Bourgogne and Montana and needed to retrieve it before we travelled out of Paris that afternoon (our train booking had already been made and paid for). Giorgio, the concierge at the hotel who was on duty, was wonderful. He arranged for our luggage to be taken by taxi to meet the bus on our arrival. That meant we were able to continue on our planned journey - and to catch our train. It would not have happened except for Giorgio's assistance. I have never had such consistently outstanding concierge service.

Very cosy and great location

This was our first visit to Paris. The stay at Bourgogne & Montana was great. It's in a great location and we had a cosy classic room. Easy for Uber pick up and drop off right to the front door. Staff were always friendly and happy to answer all our questions. At night it's super quiet and not in a busy thoroughfare during the day.

There is a cafe (Maison Pradier) just opposite the hotel for your morning coffee and croissant. And just around the corner is another excellent restaurant for dinner which we dined at twice, called Le Bourbon.

Also wanted to mention the prompt replies via email when we had contacted the hotel before our visit.

We would definitely stay at this excellent boutique hotel again on our next visit to Paris.

Merci beaucoup,
Paul

Very good hotel but...

Very good hotel to stay :very good location, very clean and nice rooms , delicious breakfast . But it fails to address some of those small things that make a good hotel excellent. For example we asked from desk to arrange us a taxi to the airport and the driver ripped us off ...
