19th-century Paris townhouse hotel with sleek contemporary decor, just moments from the Champs-Elysées

The Lowdown

On a peaceful Paris street, moments from the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe, Hotel Balmoral is perfectly placed for exploring the city’s best sights. Located in a 19th-century Haussmann-style building, the hotel has plenty of period features, including wrought iron balconies and a small courtyard garden. The sleek lobby (which doubles as the bar) is a mix of elegance and contemporary decor; expect plush cream sofas, patterned cushions, a modern firepit and abstract sculptures. The spacious guestrooms are decked out in silky peach-cream tones, while bright scatter pillows (in oranges, yellows and sea-blues) keep things stylish. Descamps bed linens add a touch of luxury; opt for a higher category room for views of the courtyard and plush Egyptian cotton bathrobes.

In the Area

Hotel Balmoral is within walking distance of plenty of iconic Paris neighborhoods and sights. Climb the nearby Arc de Triomphe for an unparalleled view of Paris’s main axis, which runs from the courtyard of the Louvre to La Défense. Also close by is the Champs-Elysées, full of popular boutiques and stores; make time for some world famous macarons from the beautiful Ladurée patisserie. At night take your nearest and dearest for a meal at the celebrated Fouquet’s restaurant. A favorite with Parisian celebs, including the current president, it maintains the standards of its glorious past.

Paris getaway

hotel was tidy and neat..
staffs clean the rooms daily and they do a good job
very safe and trustworthy staffs
breakfast was very good...I took a family room as I had both my wife and sister travelled with me.the family room had 2 room with 2 individual toilets within the family room.
the decor was very cozy and artistic. Its more cost efficient to have breakfast in the hotel than to go out to eat.
18euros per person for the breakfast spread and they have lots of variety.
If you want to go to the airport pls ge the concierge to book the car for you as its cheaper than the uber or other booking apps.
In a nutshell this hotel lives to its award and is a good place to check in.

Great location - Excellent Staff

Hotel is very close to the Etoile, making it a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the service at the bar in the afternoon. The room that we had was large and the bathroom was quite luxurious.

Fantastic Hotel

The hotel has a modern look to it on the inside, which was very appealing and was kept very clean. It is central to many sites in Paris, which is one reason why we booked it. It is also a 5 minute walk to Champs d'Elysees. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff upon arriving to the hotel and each time we passed by the front desk. Check-in was quick and easy. Our hotel room was very clean and they had even made a heart out of rose petals on our bed since it was our honeymoon - such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture!! We will definitely come back to this hotel on a return trip to Paris.
