Good location boutique hotel near Opera

This hotel is very convenient for first timer and people who love to shop as few big departmental mall nearby and many kind restaurants, cafes and bars all over within walking distance. The hop on off buses company also operate closed by. You will near feel bore here.
Also the direct airport bus stop also opposite the opera which make it convenient for people who want to take the Roissy bus at one way Euro 12.50. Taxi cost is Euro 55 one way.
Astra hotel thought is not a new hotel but is clean and well maintain and if you book the superior room it is quite spacious and comfortable. They do offer free non alcoholic drinks and snack from 1pm onwards till late. Can see that many Asian guests stay in this hotel too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Our family of four stayed here July 4th and 5th. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location is terrific with easy access by Metro or walking to all the great attractions in Paris.

Room was very clean and the bonus of free soft drinks in the mini-bar and snacks/drinks in the lobby!

Thanks for a great stay.

Great choice for a Hotel

Hotel Astra Opera has a lot going for it - many amenities and a warm and extremely helpful staff who were all a pleasure to deal with. Centrally located on a quiet street within easy reach of metro, taxi, cafes and shopping, this hotel was a great choice. Our XL room accommodated our whole family of 4 comfortly (including our 2 teen boys). Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were delicious and ample by any standard and kept us sightseeing until late afternoon. A grocery store is steps away - very convenient for water & daily supplies. The concierge helped us arrange getting museum passes (these were great), sightseeing trips around Paris and to Versailles. In short, our 5 night stay was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel!

lovely location with friendly staff

Thanks to Massi at front desk for helping us secure a wheel chair from nearby shop. It greatly helped my mum to experience and explore the beautiful city. The overall experience we had was great.

The hotel is only steps away from the Opera and Lafayette Department Store. I felt the room charge was reasonable considering the prime location. The mini bars from Astotel chain are lovely as they offer good/free refreshments while you meander around, plus they have different colour themes, which is cute.

Important to make sure you avoid room with noisy A/C motor room inside your room (it can hide behind a locked door inside your room), the noise could be like sleeping on a long haul flight...

Excellent location, family friendly

We did stay for 2 nights here in a family room (having 2 teenagers). We enjoy the large room, the view to the quiet (back-)street in front of us and the fact that most attraction are by foot reachable. You could use also the RATP transport but we did prefer to enjoy the city by foot.
We found quality bathroom products and the free soft minibar was welcome after long trips. Good to know: you have access to the soft minibar in all hotels from the ASTOTEL network.
The breakfast is good, as I asked, also served an espresso (instead of the standard served caffe).
