How to Get There
Had an amazing stay here in summer this year with my partner. We were blown away by the hotel. Our room was huge with sitting area and vaulted ceilings, gorgeous views, and full kitchen. The location was perfect, close to everything, loved being able to walk out front door and walk or bike along the river. Loved the in room breakfast everyday as well. Can’t recommend this gem of a hotel enough.
The location of Goralska Residences is superb. We found a new Paris!
Les Marais is a neighborhood in which to get lost and enjoy every step of it. The shops, the cafes, the people.
Amelie gave us a great greeting when we arrived. She also told us about a passage that took us along the Seine and it became our romantic getaway, mainly at night. Super Romantic!
Walking down the streets of Ile Saint-Louis, makes you feel miles away from the city.
We know Paris for very many other trips and this was the best!
Great to stay at the 4th Arrondissement!
The Goralska Résidences Hôtel Paris Bastille is a real gem! A wonderful hotel with large apartments, brilliant hospitality and service: a rare find in Paris.
It is located between the Marais and the Bastille area. The district / arrondissement is very well situated, nested between few metro lines and RER. It has many boulangerie, fromagerie, restaurants, groceries and coffee shops nearby (I am told there is an open air market on Thursdays). It is quiet (for Paris), sound proofed (never heard a neighbour) and very safe!
There is someone at the front desk 24/7.
The Résidence / hotel building has 6 floors - 12 suites facing the Port de l’Arsenal. There is an elevator, a small gym and a staircase. (What a staircase!). With only 3 or 4 apartments per floor and a subtle, tucked away reception and entrance you feel right at home.
Beautiful lounge / lobby/ concept store; light and airy with Jura coffee, Pascal Hamour teas and a selection or 10 different wine by the glass from the D-Vine machine. (5 red 5 white) and many more delights in the store.
The lounge (Concept Store) has a Parisian fireplace, soft and cosy armchairs, coffee table books (art books), led oscillating candles, high ceiling, precious woods, and ethnic look decoration. There is also a small terrace where you can have a drink or breakfast / read a book.
We didn’t have to state our name, when opening the doors; I was greeted and welcomed by my name! Nice touch!
They will check you in the lounge (Concept Store) comfortably seated with a beverage. Rather pleasant!
Gorgeous staircases lit by candles during the evening, painted in deep dark red adorned with many sculptures and jewellery.
The elevator opens to a hallway that envelops you with a clear starry sky at night. Each floor present a different colour and patterns evoking sunsets on water.
We felt special from the beginning to the end. We were upgraded to the Royal suite for our anniversary: it was stunning! Confortable and welcoming with its home-like decoration. The suites range from 40 to 95 M2 :more than spacious, especially for Paris/ Europe standards.
The apartment was meticulously and immaculately appointed with bespoke designer furniture and accessories. They provide the Italian designer Etro products / amenities which complement the modern but nomadic style of the hotel!
We were introduced to every aspect of the flat. From the stovetop, small appliance to the I-Pad home automation (smart home) lighting system, which controls the A/C / temperature, radio or music selection etc. We were introduced to their Jura Coffee machine and Cyril brought us a pot of milk and extra coffee beans- even though they are plentiful and replenished daily. They offer complimentary and unlimited WI-FI.
The kitchen and living room are one side and the A/C or heating is independent from the bedroom. All have sliding doors (portes à galandages) for additional privacy.
The kitchenette is convenient and beautiful: well equipped with all essentials. Great for breakfast or to prepare and serve smaller meals for guests. Don’t be shy to look for kitchen utensils and equipment in the (many) cabinets.
The living room has ample space; it has chairs and sofas, cupboard, mini bar, a TV and a cute sheep. It is a blend of new design and antique furniture. There is a sound system in every room, this is a modern flat!
The bathroom is large in iridescent bluish tiles and there is a bathtub/ Italian shower combination. Note that only the Royal suite apartments have a complete mini bar and a bathtub with an Italian shower. The Prestige suite comes with either a bathtub with an Italian shower (best of both world) or a walk-in shower.
The floor to ceiling windows opens to a perfect view of the Port de l’Arsenal, particularly stunning on a sunny day.
The bedroom also has a stand in TV and is enjoyable. You can ask for different type of pillows (pillow menu): every special request we had were met and communication with the residence was a breeze.
You can choose your breakfast the night before along with the time you want it delivered and they will leave the order outside your door; but we didn’t opt for this, instead we cooked ourselves breakfast in the kitchen, which was convenient and well equipped!
If I could make recommendation: I would have loved a magnifying mirror, USB port chargers, a washing/ drying machine on site and a bidet. But this was still a perfect stay.
We enjoyed the nearby Italian restaurant Quadrafoglio, where we forgot we were in Paris! A bit farther (but it is worth it!) …Chez Trassoudaine restaurant, indulge yourself while you will be in Paris. Friendly and loving family restaurant that serve authentic and delicious French food!
Throughout our stay, we were made to feel welcome and we were very impressed with the level of customer service and attention to detail provided by everyone at the Goralska Résidence, especially Cyril!
He made our stay delightful, he exudes refinement, is friendly, caring and always helpful. Cyril went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met, even when my cell phone decided to stay a bit longer in La Ville Lumière.
It is without hesitation that we will be recommending this hotel to visitors, and hope we will be back again soon.
Un immense merci !
Thank you Goralska Résidences, and Cyril, for making our stay so special!
