Easy walking distance of the things you want to see

This was our second stay in the Citadines Saint-Germain-des-Pres. On our first visit, we booked a studio and this visit, a one bedroom apartment. Staying for 5 days and travelling with bicycles packed in bike bags, we valued the extra space. We appreciated the kitchenette and the close proximity to the shops. Although we could have petit déjeuner in the breakfast room, we chose to make our own and collected morning coffees from the machine in the foyer. It is quite a touristy area and visiting in summer means quite high pedestrian traffic in the surrounding streets. There are a lot of small, interesting galleries in the local neighbourhood, but being summer holidays for the locals, most were closed on this visit.
The staff here are excellent, multi-lingual and very helpful. The apart-hotel is what it is - comfortable but not luxurious and in an excellent location.

Great location

Overall a good value, helpful staff, facilities & room was clean and is in a great location across the street from the River Seine with easy walking access to many of the key sites, cafes and restaurants. Breakfast options were good & fresh. We will look to stay here again.

Like coming home

The Citadines is nothing like our home. But, when we came in at the end of a long, hot day of walking, it gave us that good feeling one gets when you go home. ... Come in, relax, no worries, no pretense, get comfortable, you are always welcome here. Great location for walking along the river to the sights, catching the RER, visiting the pharmacy, the grocery, bakeries, cafes. Front desk was genuinely friendly and interested in helping. We did not miss having our room refreshed every day. Coffee machine in the lobby was very appreciated and used often. We had breakfast there once during our stay and it was OK, but we preferred eating in a neighborhood cafe. The apartments worked perfectly for our family, with kids having their own space and sofa which converted to twin beds. Just gave them a little privacy and all of us some room. Kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Adults’ bedroom was very very small, but bed was comfortable and the AC worked. Rooms and hallways could use some sprucing up (missing tile around the tub, spots on the carpet), but overall we were pleased.

I had a nice stay with decent accommodations. I had helpful front desk service. Great coffee machine. I’m in favor of staying near the action, and this hotel is. It’s not lavishly adorned but it is accommodating. 1st floor views aren’t good.

Very nice hotel and in an excellent location

I stayed here in June of 2016. The room was small but for a place just to sleep at night, it was perfect. Two twin beds, a tv a small kitchen if needed and a bathroom. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. A coffee bar with coffee, hot cocoa or tea. Great location to walk and to get to the Notre Dame church. Would definitely stay here again.
