How to Get There
This hotel could not be more perfect for our mother daughter trip! My young teen daughters (15 & 12) stayed here for an extended weekend getaway in Feb.
The hotel is so charming with six rooms cleverly decorated in popular French figures and themes. It's small with one room on each floor. We stayed in the Marie Antoinette room and couldn't get enough on how kitchy it was! Our view was like a French postcard. Rooms and bathroom were immaculate. Water bottles provided daily. Service exceeded American expectations.
Location was fantastic too. Close to Rue de Rivoli and walking distance to the Louvre! Good locals eats with an excellent Italian restaurant directly across the street!
General manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Excellent customer service, via e-mail as well, prior to arriving.
Would recommend to friends and would definitely consider staying here again.
This is perhaps the hotel with the smallest number of rooms that I have ever stayed in, having only six, but they are good sized rooms (this is a four star hotel). It has an inviting reception area and one room per floor. It is very nicely decorated, as you can see from their web-site. The bathrooms are spacious. I suspect that most rooms are laid out like normal hotel rooms, but we stayed in the duplex room that has a sitting room (and the bath) on the sixth floor and the bedroom in an attic reached by a spiral staircase. Staff were very friendly and professional, and the breakfast, served in your room or downstairs, was very good and well priced. The only drawback is that, with only six rooms, they do not provide a room service menu, but that was not an issue for us. I got some great Paris rooftop photos from this floor. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, and the street is not too busy, so it is quiet.
We were greeted by Kamil upon our arrival - follow us to the room and was extremely helpful and service minded ...
rooms are small and romantic just as we hope for our honeymoon.
Location are 5 minutes walk from Louvre and station Les Halles
Breakfast at the hotel served in the room is worth a try - classic French petit dejeuner
5 stars from us
We found this place on a travel website, and booked it short notice. We received a delightful welcome, and were shown up to our room.
The decor is quite bold, the rooms are a decent sized, but it has everything you need - the rooms are clean and tidy, it has sockets by the bedside tables and the showers and bathrooms are bright and have everything you need.
And the central location means you can easily walk to the Louvre or across to Ile de la Cite without any trouble.
This was my first time traveling to France and I was worried about where we would be staying and how the whole experience in a foreign country would be. We arrived a day late to the Hotel Konfidential due to a cancelled flight, but let me tell you, this hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and well kept. Everyone we encountered was very kind and patient with the language barrier. They even assisted us with our luggage delivery, as our luggage arrived a few days late. The hotel was in a great location, too. It felt like we stayed in an authentic part of Paris and not just the touristy section. We were close to the Louvre and were able to walk to many other popular landmarks. The food around the area was great. We especially enjoyed the Maison Rouge Bistro (get the Beef Bolognese and Creme Brulee). Most importantly, I felt safe. I would highly recommend this unique hotel in the heart of Paris.
