How to Get There
I am to stay in this hotel for 3 nights. As my flight arrived in morning, I reached hotel at 9:00 AM. Hotel reception told me that check in time is 2:00 PM which is a norm in Paris. However, I did request to give a early check in if someone checks out.
I am waiting at lobby for last 3 hrs. No one has even offered a glass of water which I believe is a basic hospitality any hotel extends. The guy at reception is blunt and rude.
In front of me, 2 rooms checked out. However, I cannot see any sense of urgency or intent to give me a room earlier.
I am sure I am up for some more fun.
We couldn't figure out where to base ourselves in Paris and thankfully came across this hotel. 2mins to the Pernety metro in a safe area which is still lively and filled with plenty of shops and restaurants. The area feels less touristy and more like you're a local which we loved! The only reason we couldn't give a full 5 stars was due to the size of the room which of course can't be changed. However, our room had a desk and chair which is great to offer but removing this would create much needed space. (Maybe enough to consider the possibility of offering queen beds instead of doubles?) Aside from that, the facilities are clean, modern and there is a lift so no need to drag your luggage up flights of stairs. Would definitely stay again.
Good place to stay almost downtown in Paris.
Cozy and nice. Rooms are small but comfortable. I was at the first floor facing the rue Raymond Losserand anyhow The room was quiet. Good breakfast.
Very close to Metro.
Me and my partner recently spent a weekend in Paris and stayed in this hotel. The room was tiny and very basic and the breakfast was pretty ordinary. The air con didn't work in the room and it got very hot during the night and as we had a room on the street side it was very noisy when the window was open. However, the staff were pleasant and the location is great. Some lovely places to eat nearby and we were comfortable walking around at night. There is a metro station nearby which very handy. If you want a cheap and excellent meal Pizza Maria is about 200metres away and is excellent.
I liked the location of the hotel which was a more residential area of Paris but easy to reach on the metro. Pernety station only a 2 minute walk away. The overall style of the hotel is cute and good quality. I only stayed one night and was solo so had a single room, but I think I booked a room a bit larger than the average single room as I recall this being an option when booking. The bed was a single and the room pretty featureless - it could be enhanced by a few things such as a strip of mirror along the full wall above the bed - this would modernise it no end. The two light fittings looked like theyd been forgotten when a refurbishment took place and one was broken - definitely a few small things would make all the difference to the feel. The bathroom was modern but tiny - a slightly larger person would struggle to enter and use the shower ;o) My room was very hot during the night but this may have been my own fault as I didn't adjust the air con (was it adjustable?) and I had a window that could be opened. Overall Ive recommended the hotel as the location was very good for transport links and the area felt safe plus the hotel was nice and clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I had only booked a single room so wasn't expecting luxury but a couple of little cosmetic things could improve the style of the room a lot.
