How to Get There
Just returned from Paris after a quick trip and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is in a great location-lots of restaurants, cafes and sites within walking distance but also close to a few metro stops so it’s very easy to get anywhere. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We chose to include the continental breakfast which was excellent with lots of choices of fresh bread, pastries, eggs, crepes, etc. Our room was clean, quiet and cozy. I would absolutely stay here again! My thoughts are with all in Paris after the devastating fire yesterday at Notre Dame. My daughter and I were there Saturday night to hear an organ recital and we are just heartbroken.
Artus Hotel is excellent located in the "Quartier Latin"
We stayed 4 nights in the "superior" room
Nobody revealed us that the hotel is still renovating (outside), so in fact, the windows
were temporary cancelled
value for money is not great, considering the alternatives
Rooms r small, bed is comfortable, air-condition is fine, but was operated only
upon our demand
Nevertheless, the staff are friendly and service-oriented
Cannot finish , without mentioning the main reason …why we might get back to Artus Hotel: the concierge Sanjay Kaloya: he knows one's way around, gentle, kind – really
makes the different
Really cute hotel in a great location. Lots of yummy restaurants, cool outdoor bars and my favorite, croissant baguette bakeries just a stroll down the street. There is a bit of construction going on in the front of the hotel but it wasn’t an inconvenience.
We had the most wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. We have a habit of sticking to the big chain hotels, but our travel agent found this gem for us. The hotel is delightfully decorated and has all the room amenities that you get in the bigger hotels. Free wifi, decent hair dryer, towel heater(!), great shower, decent size bathroom and good bedding.
Breakfast was included in our rate and was typically French: good pastry, coffee and breads. Fresh juice was on offer as well as eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit and salad.
Sanjay the concierge was the ultimate professional - he walked my husband down to a local barber, suggested dining options and was subtle reassurance when I remained for an additional night after my husband left (read: I felt safe).
Location is spot on.
Highly recommend this hotel.
We started at a different hotel, but their elevator broke twice and they sent us here. Great news for us! We started out feeling a bit fatigued from the unexpected move, but the hotel staff made us feel so welcome. The decor was a kind of updated 1950's (for those younger, perhaps it reminds of another era as well?), and very nicely done, a bit playful, very comfortable, delightful colors. We did not sign up for breakfast, but were offered it, and it was a nice array of fruit, pastries, meats, etc. The concierge Sanjay was particularly helpful with reservations and other needs, and he went out of his way to make us feel warmly welcomed. The location on the rue de Buci near Blvd Saint-Germaine was terrific--restaurants, cafes, shops, metro, art. I would highly recommend this hotel.
