How to Get There
Location is amazing but room need some maintenance stuff was very friendly. Room small but efficient. Well equipped with everything u need for aprtmental hotel. Area near to all transportation. Its highly recommended
We stayed for 3 nights from 7-10 March and found the hotel to be well suited for us. It was very easy to reach by metro from CDG and then another short walk from Cour St Emilion to the hotel. Bercy village is a 3 min walk from the hotel with a good choice of restaurants, a Starbucks, Carrefour and even a cinema.
Our room was clean, abit on the small side but perfect as we were out early and returned late. Breakfast was nice, a good selection that filled us until lunchtime. The only thing we didn't enjoy were the coffee and tea.
The other thing we found strange was that although we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it felt more like a B&B than a 4* hotel. There was no housekeeping, which was an extra cost. We couldn't enjoy watching TV when we return to hotel at night, as there were so few English channels. Only BBC news we found was in English.
Overall, a good stay and should I return to Paris I would stay here again.
We were visiting Paris for the weekend for the rugby with a group of friends. On arrival We discovered we had 3 x double rooms, not 2 x twin rooms and 1 x double room we had booked. The staff were not interested in resolving the problem and told us the staff on shift the following morning would need to deal with it.
I then returned on Sunday night to discover someone broke into our room and stole my credit card ( and was happily using it in local Bercy village shops ) and cash from my purse! I have no proof but I suspect the theft was undertaken by a member of staff as the safe was tampered with to prevent us from using it! On reporting the theft to reception they did not seem concerned about the breech of security within the hotel, no offer to review room key log or cctv ( they stated only police can do this, but would not report it themselves to try and prevent a repeat incident). At no point did I receive an apology, the hotel manager did not return to the hotel or speak to me about the loss despite the reception phoning to report the crime and tell the manager I wanted a paid taxi to take me to the police station.
The rooms do require some upgrading. The wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling off the walls. The shower valve was loose and coming away from the wall. The air conditioning did not work and the room had a slight smell of damp! In short I will not be returning here and will avoid at all costs.
The hotel is decent. We stayed there for approximately 3 weeks. Location is great and staff for the most part was nice. However, be aware that they will promise to get you a cab for a relatively inexpensive rate, but then when you actually get the taxi, the rate changes. The night shift receptionist promised us a certain fixed price for 5 people and luggage. When we entered the cab, the driver started the meter. When we informed him of the flat rate that had been promised to us, he stopped the meter and demanded a higher rate. We called the hotel and complained, but they didn't care and did not want to help. Uber would have been cheaper, so we felt deceived. We stood our ground and refused to pay the higher rate. Watch out for this kind of deception.
The good thing....excellent place. Nice are two steps from metro station .
Except of that...and taking into account that we talk for a 4 star hotel or so , staff with limited capabilities , expensive breakfast in comparison to the offered items. When something finishes no replacement. Honestly speaking whatever they offer is very good ....if you are lucky to find it....I have almost twenty years roving the world visiting all type of hotels 1,2,3,4,5 stars all over the world , at this hotel for 6 days i did not see ...housekeeping service....nothing , nobody tell us about that. It's funny for Paris and 4 star hotel.
Anyway it was an experience , that is my personal experience paid for 140 euros per night.
I share it with you and it is duly true.
