Overview

Glamorous Left Bank boutique property with sleek décor and a secret rooftop garden

The Lowdown

Set between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, this fetching boutique hideaway blends a blue-chip Paris address with bohemian charm. Rooms are the antithesis of fussy or traditional: expect graphic black and white décor with the occasional splash of color in a vintage-inspired lamp or vibrant feature wall, plus thoughtful touches like fresh-cut flowers. The funky rooftop terrace–complete with grass, tropical plantings, and lounge chairs in bright pops of color–is another highlight.

In the Area

As the name suggests, the City of Light’s most celebrated icon is within strolling distance: raise a glass to romance at the Eiffel Tower’s top-floor Champagne Bar (open every day until 10 p.m..) Also at hand: Napoleon’s tomb at Les Invalides, some of the world’s greatest artworks at Le Louvre, the Beaux-Arts Musée d’Orsay, which houses a vast array of Impressionist works, and rue Cler, with its wonderful traditional markets and patisseries.

Small smoky room by an elevator
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I arrived late because of Eurostar delays and had to ring on the door to get them to open up. Then I was sent to a small room immediately next to the lifts which stank of smoke. I had to lay a towel over the pillow in order to avoid inhaling the smell. When I commented the next morning, the manager on duty told me that there was nothing he could do and that I should write a review on Trip Advisor. So here it is. The hotel looked clean and modern and was conveniently located as far as I could tell. But the response was disappointing when I made my complaint.

Hotel and Attractions review
Reviewed 4 months ago

My partner and I are currently staying at hotel 7 Eiffel as I write this review.

This hotel is lovely. Hotel staff are very friendly and the location is great. It is literally a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel tower and metro links. There is also a convenience store near by as well as a Starbucks.

The rooms are as pictured with decor and extras. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel uses a clever way of space with the bathroom (slightly on the smaller side), however are very very clean and modern. The waterfall shower is heavenly after a long day of walking in the cold (dependant on time of the year).

If your travelling at peak season time or bank holidays as we have, ensure you book tickets for main attractions such as the Eiffel tower as we only booked 1 tour (catacombs) and found things were fully booked. The Eiffel tower 'skip the line que ' to go up the tower had fully sold out however you can just stand in line to buy a ticket... at your own times expense (apparently they only offer so many tours out). We qued for approx 2-3 hours which was awful as it was freezing but our own fault and it was something we wanted to do (Well worth it).

If thinking of the catacombs please read your small print if you buy online... you may have to actually go to a specific destination to actually get your physical tickets as we did. We used (get your guide) and your voucher has to be scanned and collect the physical ticket at a small tobacco shop next to Mc Donalds which sounds strange but it is legitimate.

The metros take a little time getting use to but if your fortunate and can use your Google maps it tells you which lines to get on and when to change... just be observant and it does help of you know a little French as you perhaps don't seem as ignorant to their language (I don't but just winged it) but it does make it hard when asking for help.

There is also the uber taxis. We have used a couple if we've had early tours and worried about getting there on time ect. Most places have been around €8-10 between two people. The metro is €3.80 between two people one way. So a slight difference but it's personal choice. We have always used the metro for all other travel bar the first destination in the morning.

Currently still have a few more things to see but so far great places I'd recommend is ...
Eiffel Tower - Night/Day
Catacombs
Montmartre
Notre dame

Food and drink fairly pricey... but it is Paris after all.

Enjoy your holiday if your thinking of visiting. :)

"Our" preferred hotel in Paris - as good as always this time too
Reviewed 4 months ago

We love the 7 Eiffel hotel, and we always stay here.
This is a small hotel - close to everywhere - Metro line 8 is just 5 minutes walk away, and to many of Paris attractions you can walk peacefully and easy. A quiet neighborhood.
We always upgrade our room (the regular rooms are a bit tiny) -and find it worthy.
The staff is very friendly. Nice breakfast (but no omelets... 7 Eiffel management - a point to be improved !!). We'll check it next time..
For sure we shall come again.

Excellent hotel

Stunning hotel in a perfect location for walking to all main attractions. Very stylish decor and lovely bedroom. Enormous bed, luxury pillows and sheets and spotless clean. Staff were very friendly and served amazing cocktails. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Paris.

Great Location

Small hotel in vibrant location. Rooms are very small and ensuite is only seperated by a curtain, but it provides all you need at a reasonable price. The area around the hotel is full of small bars and bistros and it it a great location to walk to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde etc.
