Set between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, this fetching boutique hideaway blends a blue-chip Paris address with bohemian charm. Rooms are the antithesis of fussy or traditional: expect graphic black and white décor with the occasional splash of color in a vintage-inspired lamp or vibrant feature wall, plus thoughtful touches like fresh-cut flowers. The funky rooftop terrace–complete with grass, tropical plantings, and lounge chairs in bright pops of color–is another highlight.
In the Area
As the name suggests, the City of Light’s most celebrated icon is within strolling distance: raise a glass to romance at the Eiffel Tower’s top-floor Champagne Bar (open every day until 10 p.m..) Also at hand: Napoleon’s tomb at Les Invalides, some of the world’s greatest artworks at Le Louvre, the Beaux-Arts Musée d’Orsay, which houses a vast array of Impressionist works, and rue Cler, with its wonderful traditional markets and patisseries.
How to Get There
DISAPPOINTED. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We get there to check in with Renaud, who was so cold and unwelcoming to us. Finding out that the nice manager, Baptiste, who I have exchanged many e-mails with prior to my arrival was on vacation, I guess the staff did not care to be warm and accommodating to us. I came to Paris to celebrate my birthday. Renaud sent us to a breakfast place that was closed, and when I came back and told him, he did not care nor apologize. The next day, my husband asked the same person for directions to Notre Dame, and he failed to tell us that Notre Dame was closed! It seems as if he intentionally sent us there and did not care to help us and tell us that Notre Dame was closed. A stranger on the metro was nicer and more helpful than the hotel staff member. I also asked for help for directions to get from Paris to Versailles, they said they would call me back with an itinerary, and they never did. When we checked out, Renaud only gave us a bill. He did not even ask how our stay was. He has an absolutely disgusting rude attitude. Someone with a personality like this should sit behind a desk as a job and not interact with other people. My husband and I have traveled to many places and stayed at many hotels, but this was the worst customer service ever.
HIRE NICER PEOPLE TO WORK AT THIS HOTEL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.
Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend.
The location of the hotel to where we wanted to go in Paris was great.
Not a long walk at all to the tower when you knew the way to go.
Plenty of little bakeries nearby a Starbucks and a carrefour supermarket too for drinks on the way out.
The room and general reception area was always clean and tidy and staff were very friendly. It is a small room but very nicely decorated and most rooms in Paris are known to be small so we didn’t care.
We did not eat here due to seeing other reviews that it was a bit pricey but as I say 2 bakeries and a Starbucks close by if you just wanted to get something simple for the day nearby you can no stress.
The reception man who’s name we sadly did not remember but we saw him everyday he always did the mornings was super helpful and assisted us greatly with metro instructions of how to get to Disneyland for the day.
Very worth the price we paid and enjoyed our time in Paris immensely. Complemented by the fact this hotel is in a nice neighbourhood and we didn’t feel at all worried walking round late at night as 2 females
We booked this hotel for our first stay in Paris. We were not familiar with the city at all, but we LOVED this location! The hotel itself was nice, very small (reminded me of New York hotels), but this is not a surprise for a city of this size. The staff was friendly (answered several quesions and helped book our car to the airport) and the lobby made for a nice spot to hang out before we caught a late night flight on a rainy day.
