Not worth the premium

My wife and I stayed for a anniversary getaway and were not impressed for a luxury hotel. Look into the Anniversary Inn instead. There is not really such a thing as amenities that you wouldn't be able to get at pretty much any hotel, if not a motel. Luxury in look and price, not so much in any other respect.

Excellent 6 night stay. Extremely helpful and confident staff. Plus knowledgeable. Always a smile on their faces. Room were clean, organized and comfortable. The bed and pillows also gave a very comfortable sleep. Quite was all supreme. What else can I say? Just fantastic.

Nice hotel - but poor breakfast experience

Hotel 43 has large comfortable rooms, pleasant reception staff and is in a good central location. But breakfast, which is extra to the already expensive room rate, is a miserable experience. The main room it’s served in has no natural light and coffee is presented to you in polystyrene cups. You could be in some kind of transport cafe. All quite extraordinarily penny-pinching given that a steak there in the evening costs around $50per person and rooms are pricey.

Nice Boutique Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for one night in April 2018. I normally stay in the major branded hotels to collect my Hilton or Marriott points as my company normally pays for my hotel and I am a points junkie. The town of Boise was very busy and so I ended up at Hotel 43. The lobby is tiny so I wasn't really expecting much of the room. The hotel looks like an older motel that has been nicely update to a more upscale hotel. The room had low ceilings and a very small bathroom but other than that it was great. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with sliding glass doors and was clean. The bedroom had newer furniture and the bed was comfortable but a little too soft for my liking. It had a 2 or 3 inch pillowtop mattress and I don't like pillowtops. Breakfast is normally included at the hotels I frequent and it wasn't included here so I just grabbed breakfast elsewhere as paying for breakfast in hotels can get very expensive. There was a parking charge of $15 which seems close to what I've paid at other downtown Boise hotels.

...Everything is for Sale in your Room...

...this is a nice hotel in a dated way...odd thing is...there are price tags on a number of items in the room besides the robes....for the price point try The Inn at 500 Capitol...new, larger rooms, fabulous bathrooms, welcoming young staff and very reasonable high end restaurant...
