How to Get There
stayed there for 3 nights. Easy reachable by car (parking Comedie) or train (station close by), rooms nice with new windows, that sleeping was no problem. Bed very good. Located perfectly to visit the historic part of the town. Will book again next visit
Your can’t beat this hotel for location. Right in the city square next to the opera house. A short stroll to the central train station and the 4 colour tram system. This hotel is small but it has a beautiful marble sweeping staircase. We had a family room as we like a seperate lounge room. We found the room small but we were hardly in it and this hotel is only 4 star. We didn’t watch tv as no English channels. What an amazing city Montpellier is. The new town is just as beautiful as the old with amazing green open spaces by the river. Breakfast is quaint French style and the waitress is super efficient. We had a glorious swim at Carbon beach is Euro 1.60 on the tram and walk 2,3km or cycle in under an hour. We also saw an otter in the river while cycling.
The hotel is located at an ideal place, right on the city square. It is an old majestic building that is very well maintained. The staff were very helpful and the room was a good size with a small outdoor balcony. Driving to the hotel was a little bit of a problem because it is on a pedestrian street. Set your GPS to the Comedie public parking garage instead and after parking it is just a short walk to the hotel.
