Beautiful, quiet, and has everything you need.

We stayed in Hali'i Kai 2D and just loved it. It is beautifully furnished and has every kitchen appliance and utensil that I could think of. Even more than my home. It is on the golf course and the evening breezes were delightful. Waikoloa is near some of the best beaches in the country. The property manager, Wendee Aono , 808-333-0060, from KohalaLuxuryRentals.com was very delightful and helpful. I highly recommend this particular unit and We are already planning our next visit.

Beautiful condo neighborhood
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We have been here several times, and have loved it each time. This is a great, low density condo community with beautifully manicured lawns and grounds, and a fantastic ocean front club house with pool and restaurant/bar. We often spot whales and dolphins while lounging at the pool. This is a nice oasis in the relatively busy Waikoloa Beach community, but the Kings and Queens shops are only a 2 minute drive away, and Mauna Lani only 5 minutes to the north. The only down side is that there is no immediate beach access, you have to drive a few minutes south to A-bay, or 10 minutes north to Hapuna, Beach 69, or Mauna Kea beaches. Condos are very nice and well kept in our experience. We will keep coming back.

Nice place but was not told about the resort fee for C7
Reviewed 1 month ago

Liked the condo. Not crazy could not bring even a water bottle to the pool and forced to use the bar. Booked and paid for the condo and then was notified had to pay an additional $20 per day resort fee. Attempted to contact the agent many times and was ignored. The unit had sticky floors, missing plug cover and washer was broken. Cable boxes in bedroom had issues and needed continued rebooting. Shower did not work well. Unable to contact anyone to fix. Other than that very nice unit with ocean (distant) view. Wonderful for staycation from Kona.

Love Halii Kai
Reviewed 1 month ago

We recently spent a week at Halii Kai. This is our third stay with them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and provides excellent service. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We ate at the resort bar & grill a couple of times and enjoyed the meals and the service. This year we splurged on an ocean view unit, 10F. While the unit had a gorgeous view of the golf course and ocean, the carpeting, furnishings, and the appliances need replacement and upgrading. We paid a lot ($500+ a night) and were very disappointed in the condition of the unit.

Wonderful staff, nice but dated condos.

The condos are nice. They have everything you need plus very large rooms, but they are a bit dated. Also I didn't realise when I booked it is quite a distance to walk anywhere so you definitely need a rental car and they are expensive at $150 per day.
However the desk staff are absolutely brilliant. They make the place fantastic. They are so understanding , helpful and professional. I honestly could not praise them enough. You must make time to go to the pool complex if you are staying here. It is superb.
