Welcome to Paris, the capital of romance, fashion and opulence. Set in the Boulogne-Billancourt district, a suburb to the far west of the city, the stylish, four-star Radisson Blu Paris-Boulogne provides an exquisite introduction to the city’s famous charm. It’s a mere five-minute walk from Port de Saint-Cloud metro station, which you can use to zip over to the Eiffel Tower and other charming destinations.
This hotel is sleek, modern and bright, as natural light streams in through its glassy façade to illuminate the large spaces. The newly refurbished lobby shows off an impressive work of art called The Canopy, which reflects the wine-centric spirit of the region. There’s even an outdoor terrace with its very own mini-vineyard (only in Paris). All in all, the hotel makes for a chic place to bed down in after a day of strolling along boutique-lined boulevards and exploring elegant and iconic museums.
How to Get There
We had a nice 2 day stay and really enjoyed the "family room"/suite. The breakfast was good although a little expensive and the english breakfast tea was weak and pretty disgusting (small personal point).
The bar is pricy and lacking in drink selection (beers, cidre, etc) unless you like your harder stuff and/or cocktails.
The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a nice ambiance around the hotel. Location wise, its close to the metro and easy to get into main attractions from here.
I really liked this hotel, they were great with early check in. Everyone at the front desk spoke English and were friendly which was a plus. Room was large and comfortable with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Only complaint would be the bathroom mirror light could have been better lit. Wifi, so so. Nice hotel if you don't want to stay in Paris. Five minute walk to buses, metro and restaurants. Never used hotel restaurant but looked nice.
The last months I’ve tried to book my stays as much as possible in Radisson and Park-Inn hotels. The hotels are modern, rooms are spacy and with highest level of service and always with a smile and charming english with french dialect.
This hotel was again an example of that. Agreed, it’s not in the center of Paris, it 4-5 mins away from the center by Metro, but you’ll get a room that’s 2x as big as the standard hotelroom size in Paris (I’ve seen many, I work 2-3 days a week in Paris), for a lower price. It’s a quiet area, so for the good restaurants you’ll have to get into the center.
Special thanks to the personell behind the bar, especially Samira, who, although busy, remained her smile and always was in for a chat
