How to Get There
We have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world (be it Raffles, Mandarin Oriental, Fours Seasons, Taj Hotels etc.) but Oberoi Hotels and Resorts are our all time favourites and the hospitality they provide is unmatchable. There is always so much excitement when we are about to visit any of the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts' property. Right now, we are on a fun-filled 3 weeks holiday and started it with a few hours sleep at The Oberoi, Gurgaon after a long flight from Europe to Delhi. We were picked-up in 2 BMW 7 Series cars which were new, clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite which was lovely, elegant and ultra spacious. It is unbelievable that how much these guys can pamper you just in few hours. Our butler, Manoj, was ever smiling and extremely helpful. He was assigned with few tasks and he handled all of those very very well. During our breakfast, we wanted our tea to be prepared in a certain way and Manoj made the tea himself. Those were among the best tea cups we have ever had - may be because he did it with so much love and dedication. Kailash in the restaurant Three Sixty One was always around our table to take care of every single need. Ahead of our trip, I was in contact with Head Concierge - Stephen Fernandez. He took care of absolutely all our needs and was always so easy to communicate with. I met Stephen before leaving and he was very warm and helpful. No task is too big for him. No wonder why he is considered one of the very best in India. I communicated with the GM, Amitabh Rai, as well prior to our arrival. He bothered about all our needs and its rare these days that a GM himself handles small/big requests of the guests. While staying at Oberoi Hotels and resorts, you only experience warm and true Indian hospitality. What I don't like about Oberoi Hotels is that they make it so hard for the guests to leave because with so many lovely people around you - one never wants to leave. We are going back to The Oberoi, Gurgaon in few days and are looking forward to it.
My daughters consume/like a certain brand of soya milk which is not available in India. They haven't been very happy with the soya milk brand which is available in India but we were fine with the available options. And guess what happens few days prior to our upcoming stay - I get a message from our butler Manoj that he is sourcing the milk from Dubai. I just can't believe that a hotel really can go so far to take care of their guests' needs.
The ambience is just right for a quiet evening with loved ones. Food is mesmerising to say the least. Jazz is the only bit missing in the overall magical experience. The deck next to the pool is a sight to behold in a city like Gurgaon.
Exceptional food service and atmosphere in my words in hospitality they know how to impress all aspects hotel is perfect very good restaurants excellent food must try sushi it is excellent there pool is awesome and there spa is best in delhi ncr very beautiful rooms and well equipped overall excellent experience will try someday again
I stayed at the Oberoi Gurugram on a business trip and reached the Hotel post dinner, the check in was done inside my room itself, the staff being very efficient and ever smiling, the executive room was spacious enough but not as big as a ITC Towers room, the toiletries were top class though, the sleep quality was good, the breakfast is a at a different level and one has to come back to the lobby level and again take an elevator which is a little confusing, the breakfast spread was good but the food at Oberoi Kolkata is better than here, the service was nice and efficient though, the checkout was smooth as well, good property to stay if you are in Gurgugram.
Oberoi’s hotel is a wonderful hotel with the best service you can find. The staff are extremely attentive and well trained to look after guests. There are staff in most places at the hotel ready to help you out for anything. The hotel is maintained very well, with comfortable rooms. The grounds are kept properly and the hotel is extremely clean throughout. They have great facilities with a massive swimming pool and shops on site. The food at Oberoi’s is delicious with a wide variety of choice available during the breakfast buffet and throughout the day. The restaurant area overlooks a reflection pool which is beautiful to sit next to during meals. They have a doctor on site if there are any medical issues so that takes away any stress of having any medical situations arise. Overall the hotel is a definite 7 star and I highly recommend it as a place to stay if anyone is ever visiting.
