Fantastic Customer Service + Clean Room, Comfortable beds

We stay here every year during Thanksgiving. Even though the hotel is far from our relatives home, we don't mind the drive because the hotel is clean and staff is very welcoming. Good gym too. Crispy clean white sheets. Modern bathrooms.

Very nice hotel

Needed to be in Riverhead for a funeral. Hotel was great, gym was small, but it looked like they had real bikes you could rent/use. Check in and out was quick. Room was very nice, bed super comfy too!

An EXcellent Hotel

We go to Riverhead (to the Tanger Outlets) every year and stayed at this hotel several years ago. But then their prices went up very high. This October they had special prices and so we gladly stayed here again. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. the rooms are quite large, with two very very comfortable queen sized beds,a well appointed bathroom and very nice toiletries. The only problem in the room was a decorative glass wall which lit up the whole room as we left a light in the bathroom. this could be solved by putting a small night light in the bathroom or a curtain over the glass wall. and we did tell this to the manager who said that we weren't the first to mention this and he would certainly do something about it.
There is not breakfast included, but the hotel has an excellent restaurant wiht lovely breakfasts ranging from $10-20+. the truth is, if you included the price of the breakfast together with the room price, it becomes more expensive than the other hotels in the area. But the hotel is so comforatble, clean, efficient, well set up and pleasant, that it was worth it for us. I highhly recommend this hotel.

I was very disappointed. When I called up a head of time requested a handicap room. Didnt know I had to explain my medical issues but it took your staff three times till I had to actually say what I needed in room for handicapped room. Usually when requested I get what I book for and never have to explain. After we were finally booked in
Staff was great. Even got compliments on our service working dogs. Yes there well behaved but had also professional trained. The day of our event staff member not sure of his name with a beard and was very nice first day turned into another personality next day. I was holding pups as owners went to use your bathroom before there long journey home. We were trying to keep there pups quiet best we can. When this gentleman came over and blasted us yelling we had to leave if they didn't get quiet.
It did not go on long and if he saw he would of saw it was none of our dogs. It was very unprofroffesional of him how he handled this situation.
When having a pet event the hotel should put up notices more volume with pups this weekend due to a rescue event please bare with us hours of pup event. Sorry for any disruption.
To treat quests who been staying in your hotel a few days just not the event stay and be talked like that was very poor on your hotel. I do hope you welcome quest much better and handle situations much better.

This hotel is directly off the highway in Riverhead. It also borders property with Tangers Outlets.
We were in Riverhead for a wedding on Saturday and decided to come in a day early. Casey was at the front desk and she is wonderful!!
The bed in our room was like a trampoline! Also felt more like a double and not a queen....my face kept hitting the side table. During the night the air conditioning would turn off every 1/2 hour or so and not come back on......we were sweating. Had to keep getting up to reset unit. The last straw was 5:45 alarm buzzer going off.....which we had not set. Dark room and we had not set so had no idea of how to turn off.....yes after if went off 4X we tried to pull it out of the wall but that didn't work either.

The bar area is very pretty but also very tired. The bartender was very chatty with the staff while customers were waiting. When we got a menu the waitress disappeared and it was 30 min before we got to order. We asked if they could put outside heaters on and gave up when they didn't go on after 30 minutes.

Was so bad we decided to leave a night early. The mgr was apologetic and did work with us.
