The Lowdown

Elea Village occupies a prime spot of Greece’s coastline. Set into the hillside and surrounded by palms and pines, you can expect wonderful views over the Toroneos Gulf and a set of staff that repeatedly receive rave reviews for their attentive and friendly service. An outdoor pool provides the perfect excuse for a refreshing dip, with plenty of loungers for a day of pure chilling.
Head to the tennis court to work up a satisfying sweat or explore the area with an afternoon cycle ride – both are on offer at Elea Village. All this, set within the verdant surrounds of northern Greece, a short way from the protected natural park of Dragoudeliou – Karra.

Rooms are comfortable and come with a terrace area, en-suite bathroom with shower and air conditioning. Each looks out over the Toroneos Gulf.

A bountiful buffet is served over breakfast, lunch and dinner, adorned with carved fruit centre pieces and exotic flowers for a truly tempting display. There’s also a pool bar, with refreshments and snacks.

Elea Village is located in Sithonia Halkidiki, on the coast of Elia. The villages of Nikiti and Neos Marmaras are 10 and 12 kilometres away respectively and offer a selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel overlooks the Toroneos Gulf and is just under 50 miles from Thessaloniki Airport.

End of Season Spectacular

Booked for what turned out to be last week of the season.

Having booked a superior room was at first underwhelmed by room with the bathroom looking a little tired and clearly not one of the recently refurbished rooms seen when searching for holiday.

However, the view out to sea fulfilled the superior criteria and the first sunset literally had us saying "wow".

The room was meticulously cleaned every day as was whole complex. A special mention to the receptionist who was so friendly and helpful and stayed up to greet is on arrival in the middle of the night and pool bar staff throughout.

A quiet venue largely, with little tourists briefly around but beautiful beaches on doorstep and even better twenty minutes either way. Do not expect lively entertainment or lots of bars . More suited for relaxation. A brief interlude of a double decker coachload of tourists briefly threatened peace but this lasted only two days.

As our room was over restaurant and over looked pool could be noisy in peak season but all things are relative.

Food was fabulous. Great selection every night including live cooking. As stated below, worth upgrade for all inclusive.

Even though bathroom tired, there was continuous supply of hot water whatever the time of day which is not always a given elsewhere.

A really great venue with wonderful staff. Thank you !
