Nice vacation

Bring bug spray! Beautiful view. Very accommodating staff. Black sand (dirt!) beach. Opportunities for extraordinary excursions. Take a cab to Coco Beach for shopping. We will likely go back. Grounds are very hilly.

Fabulous Vacation!

What a lovely place! This was a smaller resort than I have been to in the past but I loved it! There were plenty of restaurants and the people working on the property were fantastic and welcoming. Jeffrey at the main bar in the evening was very entertaining and made the most wonderful drinks while being very engaging with everyone at the bar. during the day Katherine would get us to do stretching or aerobics in the pool. My sister and I went in January to celebrate her birthday. The weather was fantastic...sunny and 90-92 every day. All the restaurants were very good. Loved that they had kayaks on the premises, which we did a couple of times. Did an excursion to a catamaran tour that was also very good. Our room location was great (125). Looking forward to returning some time.

Absolutely beautiful resort. The people are all so friendly, the bungalows are awesome and the ocean view was phenomenal. Lots of hills but they had vans that would pick up and drop you off around the resort which was handy for my 82 year old father with COPD who really couldn't walk uphill too much. He also had a wound and they actually went to his room twice daily to dress it and were so wonderful about it, even refused to let me do it as they wanted to keep an eye on the wound to make sure it wasn't getting infected. I truly felt this was above and beyond, this is an absolutely beautiful resort in an amazing country.

Villas are up the high standards of Unlimited Vacation Club. Site is very hilly and spread out. Shuttles zipping back and forth are noisy and distracting. Getting a shuttle at rush hour (dinner time) can take a while. Got a stomach bug of some sort after sushi at Himitsu. Otherwise, very nice being by the pool or in a cabana closer to the bay. Service is excellent, as usual.
