How to Get There
Wonderful trip. Hotel is full of luxury. Staff is great. Rodolfo brought us ice several times to treat my sprained ankle. Gilberto at Club 89 had everything at breakfast and cocktail hour running smoothly. Lovely trip. I hope we have another conference there soon.
-Breakfast buffet (we had ours at Marche restaurant). Lots of options, good quality, very good service. Would definitively suggest the breakfast-included rate. Otherwise you end up paying $50USD (2 adults, 2 childs).
-We stayed on the 8th floor, near Club 89. Ample space, small fridge, good TV, bur ours did not have a view to the resort, which at the end was Ok.
-They have a "We serve" Starbucks coffee within the hotel.
-You can use the facilities of both, Princess and Pierre hotels, and the Scala beach club (we did not visit this one). There is a shuttle bus (no cost) departing every hour. My kids liked the Princess pools a bit more so we ended up going for two days there.
-They have a playroom and you can leave your kids for a fire camp. My wife and I manage to go out for dinner for couple of hours, while our kids were there.
-They have a tennis store and 3 tennis courts in very good shape.
-The check-in process was a bit slow. Initially they did not have my correct reservation info and were trying to gave me a lower category room.
-We found lots of mosquitos, everywhere! In the pool areas, our balcony and inside the rooms. Several other guests complained to the front desk. I guess there's been a while since the last time they fumigated.
-The rooms are a bit outdated. And there was no separation between the bed section and the shower/wc section besides a shade (broken). Which we managed as a family, otherwise would be odd.
-There closest food options outside hotel, as well as supermarket are 20-30min walking distance. La Isla mall is at least 30m.
Excelente Experience and very firendly service and attention from all personal. Nice near the beach just at the Forum for business. Beautiful bike road for running, walking also. Chedrahui supermarket across street.
