How to Get There
Booked an all inclusive only to find that fish and steak were extra. Bad advertising By Sunwing perhaps? This resort is a mix of semi all inclusive and room rentals only. Food was ok but not like what I have been spoiled with in other Mexican resorts. Location and people were fantastic. It’s the small things that make me give resorts 4 or 5 stars like coffee in your room every day but they only offered a package the first day. We will try somewhere else in Acapulco next time.
Very nice people, Fernando and Nestor are so nice and they treated us so good... we are so grateful!! We will definitely come back next year ...
Leticia is a very beautiful girl and she was so kind, she has a very beautiful smile! Nice nice work.
I wish you guys had a 100% Mexican Buffet. this is the best hotel for us! Thank you!!
This was my 2nd time visiting the Emporio and on this trip I had a couple minor issues and the Manager Lorna Rebollar Osorio resolve it ASAP, Me and my family appreciate everything she and the Staff did to make our stay fabulous, I will be returning next time because I think the Emporio have the best Facilities for entire family and even if you are single, # pool and the beach is amazing and all the activity and ambiance of the place.
This is now our third or fourth time here at this hotel, which we usually hate doing. We love to switch around, but this place has such a fantastic view if you get a high, centrally located room, which we did. Our room was spacious, had a full-size refrigerator and microwave for drinks, snacks, and leftovers. The bathroom was decent size with all amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was amazing and the chairs and table out there were perfect for us. The location is very nice. We were close to many restaurants and stores, and the bus and taxis are easy and frequent. The maid did a great job and was so kind and nice to try to communicate with. Check in and check out were easy, and they do all they can to make your stay a pleasure. Their complete staff, including the small store, were outstanding, and we were very happy with our stay.
We've stayed here about four times now and it's always been a great experience. This hotel is very centrally located to so many things that are walking distance. There's a grocery store within walking distance, but we always cabbed back because of the amount of things we bought. (Lots of good restaurants close by too) Our room was very clean. We arrived around 7:30 or 8 at night. The hotel staff didn't speak very good English but was extremely nice and helped us get the room we wanted. Our view in room 908 was gorgeous, like a panoramic view. This room had a small kitchenette, no oven/stove, but had a full-size fridge and a microwave. The kitchenette also had plates, cups, utensils, silverware. The room had a safe in the closet and an ironing board. The bathroom had a blow dryer and also an O-type magnifying mirror (probably 5X). The hotel was always full and lively starting from Thurs. night through Sunday night with lots of nationals. On the weekends, they'd play lots of music/parties down by the pool area. It could get loud until about 2 or 3 in the mornings but we'd just turn the TV up and it didn't bother us too much. "Most" of the time it was a quiet hotel. Catching a bus or taxi to other areas is very easy from this hotel. The bus stop heading to Caleta is across the street. You can catch a taxi at the hotel, which costs a little more, or you can walk on the street and bargain with the cab drivers. Taxis were very reasonable and we'd take them a lot to Caleta, Las Flamingos Hotel/restaurant, downtown, etc. The cleaning lady in our room was "extremely" good/thorough and very friendly and helpful. She always left us plenty of soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotions/sewing kits/plastic shower caps, and towels. The towels are big and "white" and very absorbent. The water pressure wasn't the greatest for getting shampoo out of my hair but it always had plenty of hot water and kept me clean. The bathrooms were big and spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We cannot wait to get back to Aca and stay at the Emporio again. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful!! One tip, not all rooms have kitchenettes; I believe those rooms cost a little extra but so worth it.
