Overview

Architectural masterpiece with box-like modernist rooms, a fusion restaurant and Pacific Ocean views

The Lowdown

At the highest point of Brisas Marques overlooking all of Acapulco and the Pacific Ocean, Encanto Acapulco is an avant-garde marvel conceived by architect Miguel Angel Aragones. Like a modernist pueblo atop a hill, the gallery-like public spaces and boxy accommodations standout in brilliant white against green landscape and blue sea. Guestrooms are designed to draw the eye outside to the furnished private balconies and Acapulco vistas beyond, so interiors are simply dressed in toffee creams and whites, from the marble floors, bed frames and desks, to the crisp white linens and curtains. After dark, interiors show off a more playful side with funky neon lighting schemes in bright blues and purples. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, free WiFi and modern bathrooms with dual vanities and L’Occitane amenities, and many have private swimming pools. Terraza restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch while Origen restaurant is open for dinner, serving an eclectic mix of fusion dishes and fresh international favorites. There’s also a full-service pampering spa, state-of-the-art gym and exceptional hilltop swimming pool with huge daybeds for daytime lounging in the sunshine.

In the Area

Acapulco was once the playground of Hollywood stars and moguls, and although those golden days are long gone, there’s a certain renaissance under way in this rakish resort town. Get into the retro spirit with a water skiing session courtesy of Gordon Rathbun at Ski Paradise, then visit the legendary Hotel Los Flamingos, a 1930s-era hotspot that has hosted celebrities like John Wayne and Cary Grant, before heading to see the famous cliff divers at La Quebrada.

BLISSFUL trip to Paradise found!

Some family members and I stayed at El Encanto to attend a family event .El Encanto was the perfect choice. Nobody had a need or desire to leave the hotel for the length of our stay. From the understated modern and well appointed rooms with awe inspiring views with private terraces, to the beautiful pool area and the setting surrounded by nature and beauty and the gourmet restaurant with delicious food and impecable and friendly service, our stay was a perfect 10. Some rooms had even private pools .
Our thanks to the amazing staff that made us feel pampered, nurtured and recharged. And thank you to the architect Miguel Ángel Aragones for creating such a sanctuary where everything was perfectly and harmoniously conceived. We will make all efforts to be back. This is by far our very favourite hotel.

Encanto is a great boutique hotel that combines beautiful location and warm service. For this who love Venezuelan cuisine, they will find delicious plates such as Asado Negro, Arepas and even Golfeados 😋 as well as Peruvian recipes with the Mexican touch...

I recommend the Pool Villa room for thise who enjoy privacy and a lovely beach landscape.

Amazing Hotel in Acapulco

It was our second stay at the Encanto Hotel in Acapulco and it was again incredible!
The architecture of the hotel and its room are amazing!
The position of the Hotel is chosen perfectly so that you can enjoy views to old Acapulco and to the Marquez Bay.
We had an Ocean Pool Villa for the second time and its definitely one of our preferred rooms all over the world!
But the best thing in the hotel is the service and the food (of course also their cocktails!).
Dafne from the Front Desk was nice and helped us with reservations for Dinner, Alfredo and Hugo from the Breakfast Team just make you feel at home!
Ricardo was like everywhere in the hotel and always asking if we needed something - very nice!
I also liked to recommend Alfredo (Gerente Food and Beverage) with his fabulous recommendations and tips for Acapulco and Christian from the Origen Restaurant. This young boy just knew everything regarding the Menu (Food and Drinks!) and both times we ate at Origen he gave us an amazing service! Those people make the Difference!
Also Candido who always gave us the best tables and Edwin (!!!!) who mixes incredible Cocktails. Just ask him what he recommends and what’s your favorite Alcohol and he will prepare something incredible for you!
We really liked that guys like Edwin, Hugo and Candido stayed there from our last time so the service was more personalizes and familiar than in other hotels!
We would definitely go back there to enjoy fantastic Shrimp Tacos at the Mainpool alongside with one of Edwins Cocktails!
I almost forgot to mention the great breakfast there!!!! The sweet bread is made fresh everyday and everything we tried was just real good food (Eggs Benedict Style, Fried Egg with Bacon and Ruccula Salad, French Toasts, Pancakes, Omlettes - everything unforgettable).

Designed by architect, Miguel Angel Aragones, the hotel’s gorgeous design informs every aspect of the location and property with plays of light and gorgeous vistas at every turn.

Encanto is a unique and special property that brings modern elegance to Acapulco. The rooms are gorgeous and super clean and the design is very well thought out. I found the service to be excellent and the staff were all so friendly and extremely helpful.

The hotel manager, Enrique, was always on property and available to make sure your stay was nothing less than perfect. The concierge and check-in staff were so personable and made everything so easy – especially Dafne, Fanny, Arantza and Jessicya. The restaurants were lovely as was dining by the pool in a cabana – Candido, Jose, Julio, Ricardo and Hugo were all was super attentive and accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure that my stay was flawless. I had a fantastic massage in the Spa while I was there and highly recommend Patricia who was extremely helpful with booking and showing me the spa and was an excellent masseuse.

I highly recommend this gorgeous property and look forward to returning again – and am booking very soon!
