A Luxurious Stay

Our stay at Dos Casas far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is gorgeous, with a beautiful central courtyard/restaurant, well decorated rooms, and picturesque roof terraces. Our room was incredibly comfortable - lots of space to spread out, a heavenly bed I didn't want to leave, and all the amenities we could need. The private roof terrace was stunning, with beautiful plants lining the edge, loungers, a jacuzzi, and a great view of the city. The staff was very attentive and helpful with everything we needed. And there were so many special touches that made me feel well taken care of. Would highly recommend for a special stay!

We live relatively close to San Miguel so trust me when I say that we have stayed in many different hotels in town and by far Dos Casas has become our favorite one. First of all, it was REMODELED recently so everything feels refreshed, the decoration is modern, adapted to the characteristic colonial style so you have the best of both worlds. Our ROOM (suite no. 10) was spacious, with a really comfortable king-size bed and soft nice linens. And the BATHROOM was amazing with two faucets, two showers, and a bathtub. Our room even had an internal patio which embellished the area. Now, do you know what is one of its best features? hotel's windows isolate outside noise considerably so this is maybe the only place downtown where you do not waken up by the church bells at 6 am on Sunday!
The SPA is pricey and offers a limited catalog of good options but nothing memorable.
It has its own private PARKING LOT so once you arrive, you just forget about your car.
STAFF is attentive and all smiles.

Good but maybe not for the price

We booked a signature suite through a third party website, and while I was happy with most of what we have gotten so far (the room is spotless), I do have some gripes for paying over a grand for just 2 nights. For some reason though it wasn’t stated our booking only comes with a continental breakfast and not the tasting menu advertised on the site. This was a big disappointment. Also the room is quite loud, you can hear all the hallway noise, and there are no “do not disturb signs” for the doors, so it feels like every time you leave the room someone comes in. The bathroom is amazing, love the tub and shower. Bed is just alright comfort wise. As for the “suite” we seemed to get the smaller one without the couch, and with the lesser view (faces away from the church). Not sure if this all because we didn’t go through their site, which is unfortunate since the price is still the same.
