All-inclusive on Pink Gin Beach with ten restaurants, five pools, and over 40 tropical acres to explore
Spread across 40 landscaped acres on Pink Gin Beach, the 257-room LaSource feels secluded from the outside world. With five swimming pools, ten restaurants, and six bars, it more than lives up to the expectations of a quiet island escape replete with pampering and active distractions.
The guest rooms have a colonial-era feel that embraces the traditional style of Grenada. Expect wooden jalousie shutters and hand-carved mahogany furniture, including four-poster kingsize beds.
While the resort is the type of place where you could easily laze all day by the pool or on the beach enjoying free premium-label cocktails (yes: top shelf), it’s worth taking advantage of the fitness classes. Yoga, tai chi and meditation classes are included in the rate and are offered daily.
There’s an added incentive for certified divers to come to LaSource: Longer stays get free scuba dives. For non-divers, there’s snorkeling, kayaking, waterskiing, windsurfing and wake-boarding to enjoy, so there’s no excuse not to get on the water. The spa offers several choices of facials, body wraps and traditional massages.
One potential perk of LaSource is the high percentage of European clientele here, particularly Brits. If you’re traveling down from the U.S., you won’t feel as if the rest of the country followed you on vacation.
