How to Get There
Stayed here for Eleven nights for my wife's birthday. Absolutely fantastic. The rooms , the ambiance , the staff and the location .. brilliant. The staff were so attentive .. you asked for something and it was done right away. We enquired about getting a ring blessed in a church of which they sorted and even took us to the church ( which was hard work seen as we aren't Greek orthodox ). My wife got champagne and an hour free treatment in the spa which I thought was a lovely touch. Such a relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend and return.
Spent five nights at this wonderful hotel in a 'maisonette' room in the Palazzo side. Some booking sites call it a 'duplex' room. Customer service excellent and ambiance very peaceful. Perfect location in centre of Rethymno old town. Just step outside to visit many street based restaurants and bars - especially atmospheric at night, and close to the Citadel and harbour. Suggest on booking that you request exact details of the room as while all rooms appear of a good standard, it appears that the rooms vary in layout and design; some have outside space, some do not, some with jacuzzi bath etc, others wet room style shower. Enjoyed use of plunge pools, roof terraces and breakfast al fresco. No direct vehicular access as in pedestrian area, but collection of luggage and portage to taxi etc. ran very efficiently. Thank you for a lovely stay.
My family of six arrived late afternoon to this beautiful small but luxuriously appointed hotel. We were greeted by Alaina, who has definitely found her purpose. She took great care to explain the layout of the hotel, explained it was a Palazzo and estate separated by a quaint little alleyway. My husband and I had a suite in the newer section and my son/daughter in law and daughter/boyfriend had rooms in the older section. My room was extremely comfortable, we had a living room, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a second bathroom with a sink and jacuzzi tub, large breed room and a veranda that could be accessed either by the bedroom or living room. The room provided personal care items which included a hair dryer and an in room safe, coffee, bottled water and mini bar.
Both sides had buffet breakfasts with the option to order from menu. Pools were beautifully decorated and inviting. The courtyards were so appealing and Stephros(sorry for spelling) was very attentive with drinks or food. This hotel was centrally located and great for visiting shops and waterfront restaurants. Alaina even packed is a to-go breakfast/lunch as we were leaving very early for our next destination. Our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend this hotel. Their best asset is the staff, who go out of their way to ensure your comfort.
