The Lowdown

Forum Suites is a collection of stylish apartments just outside Chania, the second-largest city on the beautiful Greek island of Crete. The accommodations themselves represent a modern take on a classic Greek aesthetic; all clean, straight lines, whitewashed walls and flat roofs. Their surroundings are even more eye-catching – they’re set in beautiful gardens, a stone’s throw from the sandy beach of Chrissi Akti.
Everything you’ll need is on your doorstep. There’s fantastic Cretan cuisine at the Forum Bar & Grill, and a mini-market  is on hand should you feel like picking up some fresh local produce to whip up for dinner in your apartment. The resort also offers two outdoor pools, a playground for the kids, a library and a gym.
You’d be missing out, though, if you didn’t venture further afield. There are several other beautiful beaches in the area, while the city of Chania itself is well worth a visit. Boasting a stunning location with the Aegean Sea on one side and the White Mountains on the other, the city is home to ancient Minoan and Byzantine ruins, arts and crafts boutiques, and cozy tavernas.

Highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is exactly what were were looking for in Chania. It's in a quiet area with a nice beach right across the street. The city bus stops just outside of the hotel which was super convenient when we wanted to visit Chania town in the evening. The front desk even sells bus tickets, so it couldn't have been easier to get around. Breakfast was fabulous every day. We stayed in a family room with two adults and two children - we had a ton of space and were very comfortable. The pool was a bit cool but we were there in mid-May, so it probably gets warmer throughout the summer. I would definitely return to Forum Suites.

Very nice place, quiet and very friendly.
A beautiful room, even there hasn't been placed a mirror above the sink.
Very clean, lovely garden, nice pool, everything you need to feel good.
The beach is very close to the hotel, nice and with the best sand.
There are a lot of trips that you can do on the wonderful gorges or on the beautiful beaches. Just ask the desk clerk about.
Personal is very friendly, especial Cristina, that was very kind and full of hospitality with us.

Great base to visit Chania

The Forum exceeded expectations. Room 249 was at the front of the hotel up the steps at the side. The road went right in front of our room but noise wasnt a problem. The room was well equipped and very modern. 2 balconies so we got sun morning and evening. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Christina on reception. Location was better than expected. The beach across the road was really nice and there were 2 or 3 other beaches within a few minutes walk. Also a nice park to jog in. The road was not too busy when we were there. There was a public bus to Chania every 20 minutes. We only ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was suberb. Nice atmosphere in the evenings but we ate in Chania each night. Pool looked nice but we didn't need it because the beaches were so nice.
