The Lowdown

Forum Suites is a collection of stylish apartments just outside Chania, the second-largest city on the beautiful Greek island of Crete. The accommodations themselves represent a modern take on a classic Greek aesthetic; all clean, straight lines, whitewashed walls and flat roofs. Their surroundings are even more eye-catching – they’re set in beautiful gardens, a stone’s throw from the sandy beach of Chrissi Akti.
Everything you’ll need is on your doorstep. There’s fantastic Cretan cuisine at the Forum Bar & Grill, and a mini-market  is on hand should you feel like picking up some fresh local produce to whip up for dinner in your apartment. The resort also offers two outdoor pools, a playground for the kids, a library and a gym.
You’d be missing out, though, if you didn’t venture further afield. There are several other beautiful beaches in the area, while the city of Chania itself is well worth a visit. Boasting a stunning location with the Aegean Sea on one side and the White Mountains on the other, the city is home to ancient Minoan and Byzantine ruins, arts and crafts boutiques, and cozy tavernas.

Three star with five star service

Could not have asked for more from a 3 star hotel. Everything was clean and the food was great at breakfast ( we stayed bed and breakfast) we had one evening meal and the food was also very good standard. Only bad thing was the beds but I do have a bad back problem.the staff were all so friendly and helpful would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazing hotel!

I spent 9 nights here recently with my sister and i can genuinely think of nothing negative to say. Although my visit was during uk school term time so i dont know whether it is a different vibe during the school holidays Our family room was large, had a balcony front and back, everything in both our room and the communal areas was so clean, the breakfast that was included was more than adequate, the pool was lovely and so quiet and relaxing (no need to worry about getting a sunlounger here!), and the staff could not be more helpful and kind. On our last day we had to leave at 5:30am and when we came to leave they had packed us a bag of food and drinks to take with us as we were missing breakfast. And the helpful man on reception happily recommended a few things locally and then even called to book us in to a tour of a local vineyard. Lots of little touches like this really make a stay memorable.

The location as well was great, 10 min bus into chania that runs intil 1am, and there is a lovely beach 20 second walk away, with 3 other beaches within a 10 minute walk away.

I will definitely return if i come back to crete.

Chania Crete (Best town in Crete)
Reviewed 6 months ago

Close to beach (across the road) Near 5* beaches. West of here is a fantastic peninsular and beach also. Chania town is a 10 min bus ride right outside the Complex (get tickets at reception/ buses every 15 mins.) Staff are helpful and very pleasant. All is clean and the room tidied and cleaned every day. Truthfully, the photos show how beautiful the place is. Road train runs by and takes you on Olive grove/olive oil tours. The Samaria gourge is an exciting trek, and bikes can be hired to the west of the island at Hellas Bikes (great bloke there who even offer tours) The pub to the right (400 mtrs away shows sky football) and a car rental place opposite. Chania town food places are great, look for the Trip Advisor rated ones which advertise this next to their menus on the water front. i don't do the same holidays twice but would do this one again.

Rarely do we go somewhere twice, but in this Hotel we were made very welcome, fed excellent food and found a home from home, loved our trip and being so close to the lovely town of Chania (1.20 Euro on bus) makes for an added bonus. 5 Star we will be back.
