How to Get There
This hotel offers an amazing getaway off the beaten path. I stayed in their Deadalus suite which had own little gym and a kitchen. It was very nice to be able to cook at times we were tired of restaurants. Speaking of which, there is a number of the in the area, so there will be no shortage of places to dine. The villa had an infinity pool, which is a nice bonus
Getting a car is probably a must, since most of the things one would be visiting are not in the walking distance (including the nearest beaches).
One has to understand that this hotel is well distances from large cities, towns or even hotels, which is a pleasant bones for those who seek privacy.
This is a stunning hotel, amazing food on offer. Excellent location. We had a fantastic holiday and couldn't recommend this place enough, the food, the staff, the pool all blissful. Let your stressful worries slip in this hotel.
Had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at the stunning Elounda Gulf Villas, the rooms and the views were absolutely outstanding. We stayed in their standard suite which offered so much we could have stayed there all day if we wanted to, and being right next to the shared pool and restaurant it was the perfect location just to spend a lazy day at the hotel.
The staff there were possibly the best part, which is very difficult considering how brilliant everything else was, they were always so friendly, kind, and helpful, always happy to call a taxi or the private shuttle to the private beach.
Hoping one day to be able to come back to this beautiful hotel to enjoy more of what Crete has to offer.
We visited as a party of 4 in a 2 bed villa, and had just the most amazing time. We stayed on a half board basis, which gave us breakfast and dinner, and the food was really superb. The breakfast was incredible, with an enormous choice laid out for you, including champagne, plus you could have eggs cooked any way you want. The evening menu didn’t have quite as much choice, but the food was always delicious. The staff were also great. From the moment we arrived and were met by the charming Maria, to the waiters, bar staff, cleaners. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and just went out of their way to make you feel at home. The owner, Mrs Anna, also made a point of being around during the day and at dinner, and always found time to have a chat with us which was really appreciated. Overall then, a 5 star experience in a beautiful place looked after by amazing staff. We really hope to come back next year
We visited these properties as we had visited 26 years ago what was then Elounda Gulf Apartments and wanted to know if they were still there. We were in for a shock, they are now luxury villas.
We were taken into the office by a member of staff and met the owner. She invited us to have a tour of the grounds and villas. We were taken by buggy around the complex, then taken to the restaurant for coffee & cakes.
We were very thankful for the hospitality we were shown, wish we could afford to stay there.
