What We Love

  • Panoramic views of the Gulf of Korthos and the Venetian ruins on Spinalonga Island
  • Cuisine by top Greek chefs
  • The spa's relaxation room, lit by candles
  • Sea views from all the Dome Suites
  • Contemporary design brings in sunlight and incorporates sweeping views
  • Walking distance to the charming fishing village of Plaka, where you can eat in a traditional taverna

What To Know

  • The resort is popular with European families, so there will most likely be children around
  • Consider renting a car if you’d like to explore Crete, as the resort is somewhat isolated
  • The beach is a narrow stretch of gray sand accessed through a tunnel running under a road
  • Since the villas and Dome Suites are built vertically up a cliff (read: on top of each other), some offer more privacy than others

  •  Babysitting
  •  Bar
  •  Free WiFi
  •  Gym
  •  Kids Club
  •  Parking On Site
  •  Pool
  •  Restaurant
  •  Spa

Excellent Vacation
Robert W

We had an excellent vacation here in September 2019. Weather was fabulous, 3 bedroom villa was perfect and the staff was amazing. They assisted in organizing a vow renewal and our excursions. Staff was always there to make our stay excellent!!

Lovely weeks holiday

Our first visit to Domes of Elounda and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised how good the hotel was. It helped that the October weather was just right, mid twenties on most days which was warm enough for sunbathing and sitting out early evening.

All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and dealt with our needs the entire week.

We ate mostly in the main buffet restaurant and the food there, whilst not the widest choice and the same food on some days, was adequate and of a good quality. The staff in the restaurant were excellent. There was always plenty of choice if you aren’t a fussy eater.

Stunning view from our room which was clean and well appointed. Only used hot tub on balcony once which was enough for us.

A lovely stay and would consider returning.

Amazing hotel for families!

Truly a great resort if you are traveling with kids or teens. All facilities were amazing. Teen room amazing, beach area and pools beautiful, and there is really something for everyone. We loved our room with private jacuzzi (which by the way is a better option than pool if you are traveling in October) The view over the sea from the rooms and terraces were spectacular! Rooms were nice and clean and bed and pillows very comfortable.
Incredibly friendly staff. Good restaurants, the Italian was our favorite and the beach café. Food truck area is awesome. Breakfast was good, but can be a bit crowded, but slows down after 10am. We loved that breakfast didn’t close until 11am so we could sleep in!
Hotel is truly in the nicest spot in Elounda, water much calmer than around Plaka (The Blue Palace).
Sure a few things need fixing / renovating, the rooms and bathrooms could do with a facelift / renovation, adding some new furniture and modern features like USB plug etc.
The buggy service is great but sometimes quite long wait, would be great if there were a few more running, at least afternoons and evenings. The outdoor gym is awesome but would be even greater if there also was an indoor area with machines for the very hot days.
But over all those small things didn’t bother us that much, all the good parts and super friendly staff, amazing beach area and family pool area made up for that. We can’t wait to go back!
