Bordeaux is all about its red, red wine and beautiful chateaux. Located at the city’s heady heart and with an expert sommelier in Martin Santander, Le Boutique Hotel is everything an oenophile needs and more. Despite its 18th-century townhouse setting, this is a contemporary design hotel with a flair for luxury. Le Boutique Hotel scooped a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2014.
Behind the soundproofed walls of most of its guestrooms, you’ll find designer furniture and even Hermès toiletries. To sample some of the 150 wines stocked in The Wine Bar here, there’s no better spot than the hotel’s own lush courtyard and no better cold cuts to go with them than those sourced from the region’s best suppliers. Bon appétit.
How to Get There
very charmy room with a few nice differences to rooms we had on our trips so far. Very friendly and charmy staff in all sections of the hotel. Unfortunaty the elevator was not yet functiojning and that was uncomfortable since we both are handicapped with walking stairs.
This hotel is a pure beauty! Small enough to be unique indeed. Situated in the center of Bordeaux this old building totally keeps up the character of the city. We were staying in one of the apartments on the third floor. The elevator is being replaced so only a few minutes after we placed our reservation (for the same day) we received a personal email informing us about this fact and asking if it is okay. Also our inquiries regarding the dog traveling with us and the size of our van have been considered. Very responsive. The apartment itself is a rare beauty even with a small balcony overlooking the roofs of Bordeaux. Very spacious, great taste in decorations, generous and cozy with extremely comfortable big beds this apartment easily fits four people. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back! By the way: Even our rather big dog enjoyed it a lot. She had place to walk around, a small dog dish set has been provided despite our last minute reservation and she was heartly welcomed as well. He first experience in a hotel was a great one.
Really nothing to complain about!
We spent 4 nights at this hotel tucked away on a side street and close to the center of town and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and quite attractive. It included a private balcony with a hot tub. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast, which was included with our room rate, was a delicious and generous spread. We would gladly stay at this hotel again.
Beautiful hotel with a perfect location. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable, sommelier was very good. Issues with staff constantly opening and shutting doors near our room from 6-9am so impossible to sleep through.
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his 50th. We booked the deluxe room with jacuzzi and the romantic package which meant rose petals on the bed and champagne. From booking to the last day, we had a wonderful time. Special mention to Julie on reception who was so kind. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located. Everywhere in Bordeaux is a short walk. We would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break. T
