Great location - mixed service
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Right on the main Old square, this small hotel is well located. The room was average and there was a mix up about how it was described on the website and what we got. It wasn’t a big issue but nonetheless not ideal. We had poor service from one member of staff on reception who failed to respond to our request for soap (none was in our room) and who treated any questions from us as if it was a problem that we asked. He never said hello or asked how he could help. In contrast, the other staff were very good.

Great hotel experience in Dresden

We stayed three nights at the Vienna House QF Dresden in September. Could not have been a better stay. Very clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff, and awesome breakfast. We appreciated the perfect location also, right by the Frauenkirche and close to tours.

Great Hotel in Great Location

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Vienna House QF in Dresden as part of a 10-day European trip. Vienna House QF is a relatively new hotel directly on Neumarkt Square in old Dresden. It has a period exterior which blends into the surroundings but a very modern interior. It is easy walking from all the old town sights, many restaurants and bars, as well as a large modern downtown shopping mall. Our room was very large with a great, spacious bathroom. The hotel had free Wi-Fi. We were there on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. There was some early morning construction noise across the street on Monday, but otherwise our 4th floor room was quiet. The have a very chic top-floor bar, but unfortunately it was closed Sunday and Monday nights and apparently also occasionally has private parties. We enjoyed it only one night. There is a wonderful view of old Dresden from the bar’s outdoor patio. Front desk staff were absolutely wonderful – both very friendly and helpful. There is self-parking in an underground garage with an elevator directly into the hotel. Parking is 21 Euro per night. Our GPS took us close, but not exactly to the hotel as a street was closed for construction. To unload luggage and check-in, you must carefully drive across the Neumarkt Square and watch out for pedestrians! There is actually an easy it and out entrance to the parking garage across the square which does not require entering the pedestrian area. A great stay at a very reasonable price.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever enjoyed

Wow. What an amazing experience. Everything from Mareika checking us in, to the amazing breakfast service/food, the Dachbar upstairs with Suzie as the bartender, and of course, the best location in one of the best cities in the world. Make sure to check out the Australian bar which is only 100 meters from the hotel. So many things around the hotel you won’t even know where to start. They even did some of my laundry for me and was ready the next morning so I could take on the day! Dresden is simply amazing and if you’re coming here you should stay at this hotel Period. You will not be disappointed...trust me.

Thank you Vienna House QF!!!

Impressive and surprising

Vienna House QF Dresden is really impressive hotel and surprised me a lot! I liked my spacy Magnus Room. Nice colors and design (modern), but the Dachbar is perfect - design is more boutique style. Breakfast is very good, but could be more different dishes a bit.
Bellini Lounge for 15 EUR is a good choice for people which doesn't want to go out for a dinner.
In front of the hotel there is water and food for your pet. Also there's a bicycle rental.
Location is perfect - in the center of Neumarkt.
I didn't know that Vienna House got this kind of hotels! Nicely done!
