How to Get There
What an amazing hotel !
Greeted by friendly staff with refreshing drink after our long journey, bags taken and put to one side when we first arrived as we got to the hotel late morning and our room was not quite ready.
We took the opportunity to explore local surroundings of which the Opera House was literally just round the corner so easy to work out our bearings when exploring the city.
We arrived back at the hotel late afternoon and was offered the use of the amazing spa but on this occasion did not take advantage of this.
The entrance and reception area of the hotel was spotless and staff very friendly and helpful.
Our room 402 was spectacular and as I had emailed the Sami the duty manager prior to our arrival as it was my fiance's birthday and our anniversary weekend he arranged not only a 1st class room but also balloons, wine & some other special treats, this was fantastic and we both thank you so much for this.
The bed was huge and so comfortable, bathroom very spacious with everything you need.
If you choose to stay bed and breakfast we would highly recommend this as there is so much choice, from fruit, yoghurt, cereal, cheeses, meats, pastries such as croissants , breads, and much more the choice is vast!
This hotel is in a great central location and great value for money.
Should we ever return to Berlin we would definitely stay here again.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such an enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant one, great work by all.
We booked the basic room & were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Not very big but really nicely decorated, v modern, big comfy bed (king size) fridge, tv, hairdryer, lovely bathroom & great shower. Recommend staying B&B as breakfast was great, lots of choice & beautiful restaurant. It was busy on the Saturday so there was a lot of wandering going on to find a table! Bar was nice too, live music & table service. Perfect location to walk everywhere & lots of restaurants nearby. Taxi from airport was around €30.
It is a expensive hotel, but service and decor is more like a mid range hotel. We arrive early from the airport, and the receptionist won't allow early check in unless we pay for upgrade. The hotel is definitely Turkish, They have a Turkish bath, and readers aware, it is a mixed nude sauna (Both men and women bath naked) ; The room is small, and views are blocked by another old external WALL. The hotel is difficult to navigated, more like a maze than a hotel.
Breakfast room is dark, food supply is OK
Location is good, as it is near Gendarmanmarkt Square. But the area has many hotel but dining options are limited.
