How to Get There
Actually we have satisfied our stay in Sir Savigny but after back to our country we noticed that we forgot some clothes(leather jacket and etc.) in our room(202) and got contact with hotels many times via e-mail. They said they can send our clothes to us and I give the address and credit card details for the shipping fee. After a month we could not recieve anything and wrote to hotel. They said the adress was wrong that is why your cargo was in dhl office. Even if I shared correct adress, they did not accept the fault. They just said dhl wanted appx 30-40 eur to send back. If you pay the fee, we could send it again. Finally the hotel did not pay the fee and send our clothes to us. They could not try to solve this problem.. Normally every quality hotel makes it with pleasure. I am a hotelier I know that.
A small hotel in a peaceful location. If you look for a good night's sleep surrounded with nice decoration and a special touch, this hotel is for you. However, as usual, the walls are not that thick and noise can be heard from the adjacent rooms. The restaurant downstairs is a nice living room if you have extra time, and breakfast has options between cold and warm, both of which are of ok quality.
We visited this Boutique hotel for a short city trip.
The hotel has a non-traditional setup with a library like reception area with a very small checkin desk and a big reading table for having a chat or a drink 🥃.
Attached are a lounge area with a wood fire and different type of seating ( bench / small table / fauteuils) and a small area with benches with a view on the restaurant kitchen
The restaurant is a real nice Burger 🍔 bar named The Butcher. Its open for public and hotel guests. In every room there is button that is a direct connection to The Butcher to place your order 😊
All the areas described can be used for breakfast with a real nice buffet on the reading table and hot dishes to be ordered from the Butcher’s kitchen.
When temperatures are nice the hotel has a ver pretty outside “garden terrace” with beautifully painted walls around it
We booked a Sir Deluxe room which was really wonderful - the interior was filled with nice details - like an “old” phone on a pole and a high quality blue-tooth speaker.
The amenities felt luxurious and the bed was very comfortable.
The sink and make up mirror are in the room which initially raises some questions but what turns out to be no issue at all😊.
There is a Nespresso device and a water cooker with 3 free cups ( incl. 1 decaf) and teabags per day.
The mini bar has luxury drinks and that’s where the only minus in the room comes in, the prices were bit too high.
The staff was outstanding and very friendly. Together with the hotel atmosphere they make you feel very welcome.
The hotel is situated in a an area with shops, many restaurants ( lot of Asian) and breakfast places. The Berlin Zoo and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church are within a 15 min walk.
This hotel gave me one of the best hotel experiences ever, it’s charming and very relaxed. If you’re up for a sweet weekend in Berlin be sure to check this out
Just returned from our stay at So r Savigny Hotel and loved it! I was a bit concerned about location but this wasn't an issue at all. The transportation system in Berlin is fab so getting anywhere from the hotel is v v easy. Also in a nice safe area right beside the S Bahn station. Great, would definitely return!
Conveniently situated to the Savignyplatz S Bahn, this modern hotel offers style, comfort and great hospitality. But first, let's address the elephant in the room (or bathroom). The design may not be to everyone's taste (glass doors, wash basin in the room, not a en-suite), but don't let that prevent you from giving this place a chance. We stayed in a Deluxe room with this design and it was fine. The breakfast offering is varied and the hot choice comes in gut busting proportions which will keep you going late into the afternoon. And The Butcher has a great selection of dishes; my favourite when we stayed was the poached eggs with chips and truffle oil, Aww man... so delicious especially when washed down with a cold beer. And if you don't want to eat on site, the choice is amazing! Finally, the staff. Super friendly, extremely helpful and always with a smile. Give it a chance, because I'm already hankering for a bit more.
