Holiday Inn Berlin, located in the city’s Friedrichshain district, is conveniently close to main transport hubs but far enough that you can enjoy peace and quiet, and a sound night’s sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.
Offering a modern and cosy stay full of comfort and quality facilities, the hotel offers an easy and fuss-free stay – so you can focus on making the most out of a break in this culturally-acclaimed metropolis. Although simple, the interiors are by no means boring: bright shades and warm, wooden furnishings feature alongside fun, quirky ornaments.
Helpful amenities here include a health and fitness centre, 24-hour guest lounge, ice machine, a stream of business services and safety deposit boxes at reception. Just down the road is the very memorable East Side Gallery, and a brief tram ride will take you directly to shops, cafés, galleries and more historical landmarks.
How to Get There
Clean modern and right beside Mercedes Benz arena perfect place to stay if going to concert. Friendly staff and sells plentiful berliner pilsner. Can’t fault this place and will definitely recommend and stay here again.
I was here for work, and most of the hotel was complete.
Good hotel with free WiFi connection and restaurant.
5 minutes far from the lite train line and subway station with which you can reach the city center in about 10 minutes.
A little bit expensive.
My wife and I stayed her for the U2 concert at the Mercedes Arena, well could not get a hotel so close to a venue. The hotel it’s self is what you would expect from any Hilton hotel rooms very spacious extremely clean, hotel staff very polite. My only complaint is being English I’d have like more hot food at breakfast. We had an evening meal which again was what you would expect very tasty. The one downside is that it is quite away from the Center, but we was there not just for a long weekend our main objective was to be near the arena. If you ever are going to Berlin to a concert/ show and it’s at the Mercedes arena this hotel has to be your fist hotel to choose from. Highly recommended.
It not the best Holiday-Inn hotel but still value for money . The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is far from the city center but very close to the tram station which directly connects to some of the main spots.
Came here for a weekend getaway. The location for the hotel is great, only a few minutes from the train station and very central but still quiet.
Staff was nice, room was also good, we decided not to go for the breakfast as it was 17euro/person/night.
Two quite important things that we did not appreciate with the room were the glass door to the bathroom(who ever wants to go to the bathroom with an audience? It was frosted but there was no sound isolation) and the bed which was incredibly soft. So much so that we almost felt like we were in a hammock.
Would stay again location wise but for the comfort of the room we would recommend to look at other properties.
