Mitte is situated right in the heart of Berlin and is the city’s most historic district. You’ll have a huge choice of restaurants, bars and theaters in the ancient courtyards of
Hackeshe Hofe. Mitte is also home to some of the city’s finest Prussian
architecture; Berlin Cathedral is only a five-minute walk from the hotel. Head off for ten-minutes in the other
direction, and you’ll reach the swanky designer shops that line
Boulevard Unter den Linden, as well as the hub that is Alexanderplatz. An easy

How to Get There
We were on a family trip (4 adults) and chose Adina Checkpoint Charlie because of the rooms and location. Both were super and check in/out was very smooth.
Only thing not recommendable was the breakfast which was poorly prepared and presented. The breakfast room was not very good and very noisy/stressful.
This was a great hotel, our room for 4 people was so spacious and extremely clean. There is even a toaster, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid provided for you. The sofa bed was not particularly comfy though.
It is about a 5/10 min walk to the nearest U bahn but the main sights are not too long a walk away.
There is a Lidl just a few minutes away from the hotel so it's easy to get food, but note that it's not open on Sundays.
We did find the shower quite difficult to operate at first as there is a fine line between scalding hot and luke-warm.
But overall, this was a brilliant hotel 👍 would definitely recommend
We had five nights at these hotel apartments. It was fantastic to find an apartment option that included a wheelchair accessible choice.
We utilised the kitchenette to self-cater for breakfast as there is a fridge and microwave as well as cutlery and dinnerware. We utilised the Lidl in the next street for food (it opens early) but we also used the bakery as it opens earlier.
I am in a wheelchair and we found the location to be exceptional. The wheelchair accessible room is well set out. There is complimentary wi-fi.
This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay. The apartment style with separate kitchen and bedroom was ideal. The room was cleaned daily, including any cups or saucers we had used. There were even pots for cooking if we so wished. The pool was narrow but served its purpose perfectly. Location wise, I would recommend leaving the hotel in various directions as each road offers different experiences. Head straight out of the hotel to find the big street or go left to find a beautiful al fresco area with 2 beer hauses on the way to the main street or go right to Alexandreplatz!
The hotel restaurant was good but slow to take our empty plates away after the meal due to a deluge of guests arriving.
We didnt have breakfast because we bought our own treats for the flat.
It was freezing while we visited and it was so nice to come back to the hotel which always had a fire in the main lobby to relax in front of.
Convenient situation not too far from nearest underground station and close to central areas of Berlin. Very comfortable, well equipped self catering apartment. Close to supermarket and some nice restaurants.
