Mitte is situated right in the heart of Berlin and is the city’s most historic district. You’ll have a huge choice of restaurants, bars and theaters in the ancient courtyards of
Hackeshe Hofe. Mitte is also home to some of the city’s finest Prussian
architecture; Berlin Cathedral is only a five-minute walk from the hotel. Head off for ten-minutes in the other
direction, and you’ll reach the swanky designer shops that line
Boulevard Unter den Linden, as well as the hub that is Alexanderplatz. An easy
20-minute walk away is Gendarmenmarkt with its architectural gems, like
the Concert House designed by Schinkel, and the German and French
Cathedrals. For some green space in the heart of the city, head
to the beautiful Tiergarten, a huge public park which is peppered with
How to Get There
Lovely hotel in a great location. We did a lot of walking around the city and this hotel was a great base for us. We did a walking tour on a very cold day and it was lovely to come back to use the sauna and jacuzzi afterwards! Quite a few nice restaurants nearby, both in Gendarmenmarkt and on the main road. Christmas Markets were one of our main reasons for choosing Berlin for this trip and they didn’t disappoint....our favorite was the one at Roten Rathaus....about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. All in all a great city break in a lovely hotel with very helpful staff!A tip for those of you who enjoy a ‘builders brew’ in the morning - take your own tea bags as they are hard to come by over there!!
Me and mapipi is no long, we break up, my kids mine now, thankyou santa, I slept in bed instead of floor, I eat the mini fridge and pay lot for fudge. The free water no very free . I respect this holiday though
Adina Apartment Hotel located a few minutes walk from Checkpoint Charlie was perfect for our needs. Rooms are very spacious, well appointed and very clean. There is a Lidl just a few minutes away providing all your basic needs (although not open on Sundays). All in all an excellent pace to rest your head.
This place was so lovely, the interior was so nice and looked like it was worth more than we paid for! The room we had was just perfectly sized and had everything we needed. Little kitchen with basic appliances, all you need! The staff couldn't be faulted and were kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we come back! Thanks :)
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel; the location was good and we had a local supermarket where we could buy provisions at a reasonable price. There were good transport links and we were able to get around the city easily. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. I'd go back there, and I'd recommend it.
