Good size room. Rubbish pillows
Reviewed 6 hours ago

Good size room with kitchenette. Nice bathroom. Room too hot even when turned aircon off. Pillows so soft they were useless. Make sure you tell them what currency you want to pay in on your card as they always select your hime currency rather than euro which means you get a really poor exchange rate and end up paying far more. £10 more over a 2 night stay than the MasterCard exchange rate but they don't tell you they have put it through in pounds. Also the 50 euro at check in is a deposit but they didn't tell us just made us sign something in German we couldn't read and then when I queried it was told. Let's hope it goes back on my card.

Will never even consider staying here again

It is extremely disappointing to read all the happy reviews of the people who has just stayed in Adina while we were declined by the hotel just 1 day before arrival and moved to another hotel much furhter away from Hackescher Markt area where we were supposed to stay.
Do I need to tell that I have booked Adina 3 months in advance and this would have been my 5th or 6th stay?
They didn't care for a regular guest, they didn't care when I asked to move us to another place which would have suited us better location wise... They even told me we NEED to stay where they have relocated us because its cheaper for them to move us there. How very client-oriented...
The reason for relocation? We were told there was a water leak and some rooms are unusable. Well, I am not so sure this even happened, cause the rooms were still available on various websites when we were told that, albeit at a 4 times higher price when what we booked months ago. And mind you, this is not a very small hotel, so no way all the rooms were damaged which is now confirmed by the fresh reviews I see. My idea is that the hotel decided they can earn more money by cancelling those booked well in advance and cheap and selling those rooms again at a much higher price.
Well, you may imagine the problems we had trying to find a suitable hotel a day before arrival, luckily the company we were booked through behaved professionally and managed to book us where we wanted to at their own expense.
Last thing I want to say is that not just I will never ever consider any of the Adina properties for my stay now that I know they do not care for their loyal guests, but being a travel coordinator in a big business-travel company, I will advise my clients to do the same.

Weekend in Berlin
Reviewed 1 day ago

Booked Adina for a long weekend. Great location with good transport links. The airport express train stops about a 10minute walk from the hotel which is a lot cheaper than getting a taxi. Walking distance to alexanderplatz with many restaurants nearby. There's also a small supermarket less than a 5 minute walk. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean and staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel in good central location, studio apartment and bathroom was very clean on arrival and cleaned daily. Public transport easily accessible but advised to research before hand as can be slightly confusing. A lot of good places to eat nearby. Tv tower is very close by but other location attractions are scattered around Berlin. Would recommend this hotel :)
