How to Get There
Great place to get away for a weekend in the mountains. The lush gardens immediately put you in the right frame of mind to enjoy Mother Nature. The resort is close to many local wineries and we had a great weekend exploring and finding our favorites. The rooms are well appointed and the entire resort is welcoming and homey!
We had an amazing weekend at Brasstown Valley! The staff was always there to help and the room was clean. We enjoyed two great trail rides, a dip in the indoor pool, and dinner at the casual restaurant and again in the dining room. Even got her to try prime rib! Can’t wait to bring back the rest of the family. Tip: check out Groupon for off-season deals!
We have stayed here several times. It is always clean, quiet and well run. The scenic surroundings are quite nice with good mountain views. The pub is a good place to eat with plain but good food. Recommend a stay.
We absolutely love this place! Great brunch in a gorgeous setting!! We come back again and again! I'm overwhelmed with the food choices at this brunch! I never know where to start! It's all so so yummy! We will be back! ❤️
We stayed 3 nights mid week.
The rooms are unacceptably loud. I could hear the hall noise, the people in the next room talking clear as day and the people outside the window. There is no sound proofing and I hate to think if I had been there on a weekend how utterly terrible it would have been even though it was pretty terrible with earplugs. Until you get some soundproof doors and windows I would never recommend the hotel. It was worse than a one night interstate hotel. It was loud in the room and terrible and even with all the amenities in the world a loud room is still a bad experience.
If I had paid more than $135 plus tax and $15 resort fee I would have been even less happy.
No matter what On the first day the original brown headed waitress we talked to seemed very put out and never came to take our order. After we went and got our own menus and tried to order at the bar an nicer blonde lady came and took our order. They seemed under staffed. On the second day a wedding was at the hotel and the dining room was shut on a Wednesday with no warning and Brassiers was packed and there were only 2 blonde waitresses who were very nice and trying but they were not enough to cover a restaurant on a wait. It took forever and people were mad and leaving.
Also, when you call the hotel to ask questions sometimes no one answers.
When I would ask the front desk questions they 9 times out of 10 had no answers. They need to be cross trained with the spa, stables, proshop and other amenities so they know basic answers.
The spa is nice. The stables were nice and people friendly. Adam the trail guide and all of the bell men and shuttle drivers were phenomenal and knew more answers than the front desk. They were best part of the experience. The resort is nice and well maintained, except for the actual rooms.
