How to Get There
We decided to take our entire company and the families to Brasstown Valley for a long deserved weekend retreat. We allowed people to play golf ride horses swim fish shoot skeet hike and watch meteor showers at night. The food was good the people were accommodating the resort was perfect for this type trip. Everyone That went with us enjoyed it and we are glad we went. From the spa to the trails it was great for everyone adults and kids
I have always coveted the Young Harris valley for it’s beauty and peacefulness. Having family close by, I have visited to play golf, however, this was my first experience booking a reservation for an overnight stay. My girlfriend and I were more than impressed with the level of customer service and overall experience of the resort. The security staff was even nice enough to help us look for a lost bracelet that had fallen off during a walk exploring the grounds. We were luck to find it even after dark! I would highly recommend Brasstown Valley for you next special occasion or weekend retreat!
We had a memorable & relaxing weekend at Brasstown Valley Resort. Service was solid & friendly. The views of the mountains are beautiful and temperatures were a little cooler than in Atlanta- great escape for the dog days of summer! The pool was relaxing & there were areas for nice walks- even if you're not a golfer. Beds were a little firm, but the rooms had everything we might need like a small refrigerator.
One thing that needs improvement is the coffee provided in the rooms as well as in the restaurant. The coffee was so weak that it was tasteless. At breakfast I asked for a cappuccino with an extra espresso shot so that it didn't taste like milk and water- I was charged 3 separate charges for that order and it was still like weak coffee- not espresso. Whatever they're using for coffee & espresso should be changed....
Service was good in the evening at Brassie's but very rushed, impatient & rude at breakfast. This place is too high end for poor service to be tolerated.
We stayed for 3 nights back in May and very much enjoyed the hotel. The views are great and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and spacious. This hotel is offering everything you are looking for. We couldn't use the indoor pool as it was under construction but nevertheless we had a great stay.
Our stay at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa was so quiet and relaxing. Large, nice rooms (recommend getting one with a balcony) - beautiful vistas - good food - excellent service! And they have golf, horseback riding, and a spa. The resort is in a quite remote area, but the towns of Young Harris & Blairsville are nearby.
