How to Get There
I must say that I usually only review when I LOVE a property, but this was such an awful, horrific experience of being treated like utter crap, that I must take the time to save your hard earned $. We were staying for the night as HIlton Honors members and we entered Pub restaurant for a late meal after a busy day famished. Trevor was our waiter-disposition from onset was rude. I suspect because it was close to closing time and he was ready to go, & not wait on friendly people who typically tip large!? When ordering drinks, I wished to immediately order appetizers as well to which Trevor cut me off and said, " I'm only taking drink orders right now", in an irritated tone. (?) Ok-upon returning with ordered drinks he states that kitchen closes in 10 minutes so we need to place order-wow, this is going REAALLL great, but we are FAMISHED, so we order appetizers and meals-once food is delivered, we never see Trevor return to our table-not to check on us, not to clear table or ask us if we wished for to -go containers ( as most of the food is uneaten since he has made us feel so unwelcome); He never even delivers check. So we meander to front of restaurant where Trevor is engaging in conversation with others at bar. As he sees us walking to retrieve bill to pay and leave,, he runs it on register and places it on bar before me and walks away to go clean our table-doesn't ask me anything, doesn't wait for me to ask him anything or give him my bill that I've been waiting for....and that's when I decided I'd had ENOUGH of being treated like crap-my husband went to retrieve our bags out of the car, and I went to the front desk with our bill to complain and have it billed to our room with a discount for being treated so rude. Trevor does not see me at the desk, he sees my husband walk out of the hotel and accuses him of trying to run out on the bill and that it cannot be charged to our room. The front desk asks me to write down my concerns/issues as they are handling an emergency (?). I do so, then wait-....nothing. So I left my concerns on the paper and went to my room-was never reached by front desk, no apologies expressed....but funny thing Trevor-the bill was charged to our room like you said it couldn't be. I will NEVER come back to this hotel again and seriously considering never utilizing the Hilton brand after this utter lack of professionalism from restaurant and front desk not taking time to handle in any fashion. STAY AWAY
I am staying here as I type this. There is loud music with tremendous bass from a party they are having downstairs. (I am on the 3rd floor). It is now 11:06 pm with it still blaring. Called down to the desk to ask when it was stopping because we have to be gone early in the morning. The front desk staff asked “You can hear it? What room are you in?” Bass is still incredibly loud, not any quieter. Pay $200 for a room and can’t sleep due to the thumping bass. If you beed to sleep avoid this hotel.
Standard (non-ADA) hotel rooms are unsafe for those with physical disabilities. Bathroom too small, no grab bars, tub too high and slippery. Lobby floor was slippery when wet.
The customer service was satisfactory, but we had to cut our stay short because it was so unsafe for my 81 year old father.
